  • Morning all :hello:

Early start for me, but only because I went to be at Just after 6 last night  I felt absolutely rotten and slept until 6 so obviously needed it. Feel much better today which is good as we’re off to the Cotswolds for the day :D tickets to an event pre bought in the summer and taking a packed lunch. We get hot drink and mince pie with event too :A so spends will be low/ non existent :T

    Other things:
    Check banking, surveys
Pack away last of things back from dd barginous party :)
Maybe wrap some presents tonight, only a handful left. Light at the end of the tunnel :D
    Quick vacuum round
Small wash and dry on radiators
    Something from freezer for tea
Get some braising steak out to go in slow cooker tomorrow

Determined as a fellow introvert I totally feel your pain :o
Dawn read your post quickly and thought you’d taken an icy dog for a walk :rotfl:
Foxgloves we haven’t made it to a NT this festive period yer, which is a first for us. Maybe next weekend we can squeeze one in. They’re even better this time of year.
  • Hi all

I have nearly had one of my classic grocery moments.

Last night I did an extra order, thought a bit and cancelled it. Phew. It was all extra stuff for incase!!!

Meal planning is the way forward.

    Must stick to it.

I am off to bake shortbread now.
Then dogs, sheep, cattle and Mrs pig.

It will be a long day

    Happy gaudete Sunday everyone.

    M xxx
  • Foxgloves & FVD ever the juxtaposition! I am very bubbly and have an out going nature, but I need a lot of down time and re-energise through being alone. On the Myer-Briggs personality test I am the most out going of the introverts ;)

The party last night was really fun. Laughed and danced so much :)

Day 2 of busy weekend! Today we have a kids birthday party at 11 and a dinner party at the outlaws with dd at 6. In between those I want/ need to:

bake a red velvet birthday cake & help madam make a birthday card for dd. Will be using gifted craft materials

birthday card for the party from stash. Will put the gift in a recycled bag ;)

hang up washing & do another load

    Go for a run

    go pick up oh's car

That's all! Lovely to hear about all your festive celebrations :)

    Afternoon all :)
Nice to 'see' you Maria :)
Just been to Lidls to stock up for visitors over the next few days, probably overdid it, but if so I won't need to buy so much for actual Christmas
    Other things:
    Dog walks x 2 (1 done)
    Wrapped up 5 ebay parcels
Pop over and see little GD. She still has her tummy bug and wants to see Grandma - hope I don't get the bug
Cook 2 chickens, one for dinner tonight and one to have cold.
Get paperwork etc ready for a hospital appointment tomorrow
Finish bits of housework that still need to be done

Better get on with some of it!
  • Hey folks

Still here but I have contracted man-flu style plague. MSE things will consist of going nowhere and doing nothing!

    Hope you're all ok

    Other things:
    Dog walks x 2 (1 done) Done
Wrapped up 5 ebay parcels Paperwork all done for Drop and Go at the post office :)
Prepared the coming week's RM surveys items
Pop over and see little GD. She still has her tummy bug and wants to see Grandma - hope I don't get the bug  GD seems ok, but still not eating anything. Took a photo frame mended by OH, and a new but unwanted warm hat for son in law, 2 more items added to my decluttering list, which is going swimmingly, even though nothing else is :rotfl:
Cook 2 chickens, one for dinner tonight and one to have cold. DD came for dinner, bringing the baby. Took a dinner home for her OH, who had stayed with GD. Chicken carcase now in SC with stock veg and a few herbs. One chicken left for tomorrow's visitors.
Get paperwork etc ready for a hospital appointment tomorrow Done, will leave early as the traffic is awful in the city where the hospital is, due to Christmas markets etc
Finish bits of housework that still need to be done Not done, though I have sorted piles of washing up and cleaned up the kitchen after OH cooked the roast!

Better get on with some of it!
