Buy him a Bose Bluetooth Speaker. From the sound of it, i doubt he'd be in the market for cuff links or collar stiffeners !

I think premium bonds is a great idea. He clearly doesn't want any 'things' and they will only get in his way and gather dust.

For you, giving stuff is a demonstration of love and for him getting stuff from you isn't. No criticism of either of you: as someone mentioned earlier, different languages of love.
My husband and I stopped giving each other xmas presents very early in our relationship - an utter relief for both of us.
