How about a steam gift card if that's where he buys his online games from? (I'm pretty sure they sell them at Tescos if you'd rather the physical gift card to wrap up)

Does he have a decent set of earphones if he listens from his phone?

New set of headphones and a steam gift card is what I'd go for for someone who plays computer games online. You can also get gaming mouse.

Bluetooth speaker so he can listen to the music off his phone, but through a decent speaker. The Bose mini soundlink is great, I have one & I love it.
Vouchers for Steam, if he plays/downloads a lot of games through that.
    Festival tickets.
Voucher for whichever clothes shop he prefers to shop at.
    Netflix voucher/account subscription.

Just a few suggestions, good luck :)

Just ask him what he'd like.
It's not like he still believes in Santa Claus......

I've asked him several times and he says nothing, don't waste your money on me.

Yet he always spends a lot on us.

He's already bought himself top of the range headphones. Maybe the steam gift card.

One thing I did manage to think of, I have bought him a leather bracelet as he wears cheapo ones.

The Book of Everyone is great but hardly a gift i'd buy for a game playing 28 year old. Once read, it will sit gathering dust on a shelf. I'd give him gig vouchers if thats what he likes to do. Craft beer might be an idea, the unusual stuff though, not bog standard beer. It's all very trendy at the moment. A huge bag of all his favourite things is a good idea too.

Yes, I was thinking that. Nice idea but you are right. The gig vouchers are good. I am just looking where to buy them.

He has good earphones for his phone already. Maybe the gift card.

He is learning Japanese online. I was wondering if I could buy him a gift to do with that.

"He is 28 and lives at home." Don't most people live at home?

Lives with us his parents. Not sure if they do.

A house deposit so he can move out?

    How about sky diving experience?

    A track day?

A guitar lesson with a pro?

    1. Out of my budget
    2. He wouldn't do it.
    3. He wouldn't do it.
4 He teaches guitar to his friends. Maybe though.

Echo the others who say offer him money towards a house deposit. He seems to be doing OK living off you and your husband...

He's not living off us. He pays rent and buys his own food but he doesn't earn enough to rent a place. I would love to give him a house deposit but don't have the money.

I only asked for present ideas.
