tracing agents of whom? the parking company, would they trace me for 5-6 unpaid tickets, if they do they go to registered address.

i am selling the car so their wardens don't see it again, and will assume that i am moved

what if i contact the parking company and ask them to reduce the charges or make installments, is there any good or i should just dispute the charges.. i just want them to stop proceeding court process.
  • Some of the tracing agents I use work on a "no trace, no fee" basis. So yes, it's possible (albeit not inevitable) that they could instruct a tracing agent (usually a retired cop) to find you...

Selling the car seems drastic. Frankly, it'll make no difference to the outcome. I have yet to see an example witness statement from a PPC actually prepared by the person that applied the ticket.

You can offer to pay and you can offer to pay in installments. The advice of most on here is not to do that if you have a decent defence argument.

You may have just such an argument, but I can't find sufficient information on here about the circumstances of your tickets to take any view myself, for what that's worth...

It is true that it will take time and effort to defend this, which doesn't bode well since you describe yourself as having been too lazy to even notify the DVLA of a change of address (despite the risk of a fine for that).

No. You will not be able to stop them and you will need to defend this with our help, making sure you give them your correct address NOW.

I did already say earlier that you can't ignore a claim:
You only get a CCJ if you lose in court and THEN refuse to pay within 30 days. Or if you ignore or miss a court claim (usual reasons here being people not updating their V5 address as keeper of the car, so they miss the nasty PPC claim in the post years later). Sounds like you need to give them your correct address so you miss nothing important.

On this forum we win 99% of fully-coached defended claims v PPCs.

We WIN almost every case. It is worth fighting, if you lose at the hearing you can then sort out payment.
now yesterday they stuck the ticket on my vehicle at 3 am, saying that they are going to county court if i do not pay the previous charges.
What did they put on your car?!

  • they stick a small sticker like parking penalty inside small printed paper which says "due to multiple parking charges we are proceeding to county court to the registered keeper, pay promptly to stop the proceedings" call at this number or visit website to pay.
now there are dozens of cars( with resident parking permits) out of space parked on restricted area at night.

plz guide me how to win this situation,

    We already have advised you.

Wow, I suspect they are not entitled to do that, it appears to be an aggressive business practice.

It's a first for me, never seen that!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

should i call them if yes they might chase me more for full money which i cant afford to pay,,
or should i negotiate with them and ask for 50% reduction..

Your best option is to read the advice you have been given.

Re-read all the posts where others have kindly offered advice.

Have you followed any of it?

The most recent on Monday was to show us pics of what was stuck on your windscreen.
    Where are those pics?
