Part of the Furniture 10 Posts Combo Breaker
Looking forward to 10th code being posted hopfully plenty of holidays left we want to go to skegness or great yarmouth what time will 10th code be posted ???
  • Thanks so much to Essex Boy and others for great advice on this.
I've screwed up and can't use Sun Savers so going down the code words route..
Any idea what time the booking office opens tomorrow? Of what time anyone might be posting the code word here? I have to get kids to school and worried it'll be all sold out by the time I buy a paper.
So if any kind soul who lives in London or anyone else who has early access could post the code word on here late tonight/in the early hours I'd be really grateful.
    Thanks All :)
  • Thanks Essex Boy! I'm such a newby I just saw this after posting again thinking first post hadn't worked!! THanks for your patience :) 7am would be amazing x

No way of knowing, if it hasn’t been posted beforehand I’ll post it around 7am
  • Hi does anyone have a unique code for Wednesday 10th Jan if possible please thank you
  • Do the daily mail do another promotion in April like the sun? Looking for an August break which I couldn't get in this one
  • Hadn't appreciated that because I had a VIP code I could book yesterday - the pull out said Sun Savers could book from 14th with early booking but I didn't realise that VIP was the 13th  my own fault

So, by the time I bought a paper yesterday, realised I could book and got online everything in the areas I want for May 28th was gone.

Thanks to this thread have used the availability update to widen my search area but still no joy. Finding the odd park but with compulsory half board or starting price of £21pp.

Sometimes when I search I get a pop up saying adult only holiday

Park Holidays - are they any good? Last time I booked a Sun Holiday (couple of years ago) Park Resorts had terrible reviews across the board. Trying to use the club950 website to look at reviews while searching for availability but finding it all extremely laborious :(

Am I alone in this? Do I just need to be more patient?! :rotfl:

    Yes, middle of April
Not sure if I’ll be making a thread for that one
The dates last April wasn’t very good with the Daily Mail

Park Holidays are not as good as Park Resorts in my experience
Always worth checking up to date Trip Advisor reviews
Park Resorts are now known as Parkdean Resorts
The Pontins Adult Only warning..ignore it unless you’re booking Pontins
It’s a blip that comes up every time a date that Pontins use as Adult Only is selected

Accommodation types for all Haven Parks are listed on the Club £9.50 website, under Browse Park, find out more (see link below)

    https://club950.co.uk/parks/

For Haven Presthaven accommodation types are listed as

Comfort: are 10ft wide and sleep up to 4 in a two bedroom and up to 6 in a three bedroom. Comfortable and well fitted, Comfort caravans have heating in the lounge area. Bed linen is available for hire but beds will not be made up. Check in time is 4pm.

Comfort plus: have all the features of a Comfort caravan but come with the added benefit of multi room heating. Plus, if bed linen is hired, beds will be made up for your arrival. Check in time is 4pm.

Comfort extra wide: are 12ft wide and sleep up to 6 in a two bedroom and up to 8 in a three bedroom. Extra spacious, modern, featuring higher quality fittings and stylish interiors. If you hire bed linen, beds will be made up for your arrival. Earlier check in time at 3pm.

Premier plus: luxurious, ultra-modern, 12ft wide caravans with stylish fittings, central heating throughout and double glazing. The very best caravans on offer! They sleep up to 6 in a two bedroom and up to 8 in a three bedroom. Bed linen is included and beds will be made up for your arrival. Earlier check in time at 3pm.

Dogs are accepted at this park in a limited number of accommodations across all caravan grades at £25 per pet (max 2 per accommodation) – subject to availability on a first come first reserved basis. Please call Haven when you have received your holiday confirmation to add your pets.
Thank you, I went for comfort plus as when looking at the haven site - the only caravans with heating throughout were under 2 years. Just hoping they don’t have a bunch of scabby old caravans which aren’t on their website but have central heating lol!

Sadly there was no way of adding bedding or a cot. Is there a way of doing this at a later date? Does anyone know if cots fit in the main bedroom?
