Seem to be having an issue submitting the appeal via POPLA, just keeps saying 'Application error, an application error has occurred and your request cannot be processed. Please accept our apologies and try again later'.

Slightly annoying !

Have you simply copied and pasted your appeal into the appeal portal, or have you converted your Word document into a .pdf file and ‘attached’ it? If the latter, have you put something into the appeal portal like (words to the effect), ‘Please find attached appeal for xxxxx (POPLA ref number) xxxx (PPC PCN number) xxx (vehicle VRM)’?

Have you completed any mandatory boxes on the portal? Have you ticked the ‘OTHER’ box?

If you’re using a PC, have you tried using a different web browser? Are you using a mobile phone to submit?

When is your POPLA deadline?

When is your POPLA deadline?

Hi Umkomaas, I've converted a word document into a PDF and have put text into the appeal portal quite similar to the above text suggested. I've just ticked the other box but haven't ticked anything else. I've tried using Microsoft Edge instead of Google Chrome and it's coming up with the same message so I'm wondering if it's an error on their part? I only received my POPLA code on Monday.

OK, plenty of time before the deadline. This may just be a computer glitch at the POPLA end, so try it again later. If you were right up against your deadline (this is aimed at anyone else in a similar position today with an immediate deadline), I’d telephone POPLA to find out exactly what the cause of the problem is and ask how they would want the appeal to be forwarded.

I used POPLA for someone I am assisting, only this morning, and it was OK. Try using Chrome.

I've tried again on Chrome and Edge and still no luck keep getting the same message. I'll keep trying but if I have no luck I'll contact them to see if they are having any issues from their end. Thanks everyone
