    Yes, much better.

As Quentin said, it's is to protect you - the keeper. ;)

Highview should be easy at PoPLA.

The driver has already been identified in the appeal so I think this one may be tarnished! Thank you for the advice given regardless!

Are you able to show us what was said in the appeal to see if we can rescue anything out of it for you, as HV don’t rely on PoFA, it is a slam dunk winner, provided the driver hasn’t been explicitly identified.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes I can provide this, how should I go about this? Don't want to tarnish it further if there's a chance it can be rescued so just being cautious.

What exactly did you say in the appeal?

Sorry I didn't realise you had replied earlier!

Just copy and paste it here. Redact any personal detail, or any that might identify you like VRM or PCN ref no.

To whom it may concern, I have received a PCN for parking at this address, I read the terms and conditions on the sign and have parked here previous times before, which states parking is free for the period of up to two hours. I shopped in the Aldi store located in this establishment within this time frame so I am confused as to why I have received this notice, could you please advise as I feel this has been incorrectly issued.

This was what was put on the appeal response for the original PCN

Sorry I had some issues accessing my account !! Just an update I've received another PCN as the registered keeper of the vehicle for the week before the previous PCN. How long does the company have to inform you of this? As it has been 21 days from the date shown, from what I've read in the newbies thread it's 14 days.

Only if you don’t identify the driver, otherwise they have 6 years to issue and pursue their invoice.

Is this in relation to the original PCN or the other one I've mentioned about with the late time frame ?

I did have a look through some threads and I'm unsure if I should keep it simple in regard to the out of date PCN, could one of you generous souls please advise on the below:

I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car, on these main grounds:

Your Notice to Keeper was not received within 14 days so keeper liability does not apply. The date issued at the top of the PCN xxxxxxx clearly shows it is 19 days after the alleged event xxxxxxx and therefore provides the evidence that I could have not received the PCN within the 14 days.

The purpose of having a specified time scale for keeper liability to apply is that after a period of time, the keeper may not recall who was driving at the time, as is the case in this instance.

I invite you to cancel the charge or provide me with a POPLA code where, I am confident, they will cancel the charge on this point.

FYI the date was issued on 18/11 and was only received 09/12 (date on the letter is 07/12)
