  • Went to Tesco again this morning, and scooped up all the small talcs plus some baby moisturiser @ £0.98. Only got the points for the latter!

Stormed off to customer services, where a very obliging young man credited thousands of points to my account. Funny......he never questioned what I was doing with all that powder.

It all went through automatically yesterday, so I suspect they have changed the offer overnight.

Have a thought for all the heavily pregnant ladies trying to pack their hospital bags or ladies with babies who actually need these products, regardless of clubcard points.

There really is no need to be so greedy, or any need to brag about it!!

By all means take advantage of tescos generosity but have a thought for others!!

  • Crap! Bought 8 from Kilburn Tesco Express and checked my receipt afterwards and only got about 8 points. Last time I use any of these dodgy get quick rich schemes!
  • You scoundrells... in my store all the 200g 76p talcs have been purchased and the shelves are empty :( I will be back in to see when they restock. Martin will be so proud of you all!

I'm using my club deals for money off my Open University Psychology degree. Since I pay for my next course in December then this is an ideal time to get a few extra points.

I told my brother about the deal and he managed to get 10 of the talcs :j ... I wonder if I could reverse shop lift and smuggle them back into Tesco and then buy them? The idea does make me laugh :rotfl: - if you got caught smuggling them back you would be pleading "take me to the checkout and I'll buy them!"

Equally I wonder if you could ask a nice till assistant to run through 10 talcs when you only pick up one or two! That would confuse Tesco stock control, yet let all us MSE's get what we want!

  • Although this is a great deal, please don't be wasteful...If you don't actually want to use the products you're buying, please consider giving them to your local hospital/baby clinic/charity shop. They'll be extrememly grateful, and you'll get that warm and fuzzy feeling that comes from doing something generous!

I bought some little Talcs this morning and some soaps this afternoon, the points were automatically added with no problems :D

Keeping the soaps for myself, but given the Talcs away. Oh, and I am 6 months pregnant and wouldn't dream of using Johnsons on my Baby or Children! (much prefer Halos and Horns - with no nasty things in them)

There are no signs for the 100 extra points in the wolverton - milton keynes store, so I didn't risk it, may have already pulled it?

    I will try online though.

Went in there last night at about 7pm and the shelf was full. Had the offer labels on the shelves too.
  • Hi,

    A few questions please!

    1) How long do the points take to show up online?
    2) Is the offer still running? My local store has taken down the sign.

    Thanks
