I had a 5% one when I first joined which I put £500 into every month, when that one matured I got to open another 5% one but could only put £250 a month into it. That ones matures in the summer so hoping there will be a similar option again! Have you logged on and looked at the saving accounts that are available to you? Ah right sorry mis read that! Pretty sure they only let you have that for one year, attraction for new customers and all that!
Maybe worth looking into other accounts that offer a switching bonus if you are looking to change, not sure how many years you have to be away from a bank to be considered a new customer again to switch back!Grocery Challenge 2019 YTD-£820.46/£7200(11%)

Before you switch the Flex Direct, remember it entitles you to the Regular Saver at 5% on £250 a month (there are other ways to qualify)Eco Miser

£300 TSB 5% saver.
Which account is this? TSB had a 5% monthly saver but I thought it had dropped down to 2% more than a year ago which would mean you couldn't be on a legacy 5% one?george4064 wrote: »January 2018 Update. Bit fragmented at the moment because I just moved house, so have lots of new bills etc currently in progress of sorting out! Hopefully February onwards will be a lot more consistent.
I have found myself quite short on ideas to put my savings. My Nationwide Regular Saving matured in January, and need a new home for it. I recently opened TSB Regular saver (only 2% interest) but still need more places to put them, I'm reluctant to put more into P2P as I already have a lot there and I can't seem to find the right account for me. Any advice appreciated.
I used to have Nationwide FlexDirect earning 5% on £2,500 which is now expired, is it possible to re-open this? If so how?
£658.10 saved, split as below:
HTB ISA - £200
RS - £250
P2P - £208.10
I'm in the same boat as you George - both my First Direct and Nationwide regular savers are maturing this month so I'll have £10k and no direct debits to play with. I'll be putting some into my LISA but that will only take care of about £6k (topping up from help to buy ISA and covering next tax year too) so I'll still have £4k unallocated. I may stick it in my Nationwide loyalty saver for now until I see the advice people give you for your savings

@ecomiser, I've just received my 5% monthly interest with Nationwide for a flex direct, having had one for a year, closed it for a year and then applied again using 'recommend a friend'.Save 12 k in 2018 challenge member #79
