Hi Poohbear hugs to you hun, take care of yourself over the coming weeksThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hi all, I'm just sitting having a beer while waiting for some hot water to clean up the kitchen. You've been a chatty lot today what with your workmen and the like. Arms length hugs for the poorlies and hug to Poohbear, hope you're doing ok,Ducks.
I got home earlier than normal and managed to get a washload done. Also picked Sunday's chicken clean and made some stock. Chicken, spinach and chickpea bhuna for tea or the freezer still to do tonight. I took Bob to the vets again for MORE fighting injuries. He has an abcess in his ear poor lad. Lovely vet poured some fizzing solution in which promptly got shook out with lots of evil smelling gunk. (Are you eating? sorry..) He's such a regular the receptionist gets my name and asks 'what's he done now?' despite having another cat registered there.
I'll come back later (beer finished). Well done to Newbie flyers, sorry I didn't say hi yesterday but I'm sure everyone has given you a welcome. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

poohbear that must be a relief to have that done and be at home.
well done to everyone for flying today. still not done a lot of flying but, baby steps both here and sorting my classroom out after a week of supply teachers.
Achieved today:
3 lessons taught
classroom tidied
1 washload done
got DH to make tea
to do before tomorrow:
mark 1 x set of books with report stickers in - will probably take about 1 1/2 hours
plan out 4 lessons in more detail
get DH to put bibs in TD
not done as much as i wanted to today but c'est la vie.
sounds like lots of productive things going on in other people's households. I wish i had enough hours in the day to do well in my job and keep my house looking good.0 -
Just home like 30mins ago!
thats dad finally home from the hospital.
I threw stuff in a big pot and I'm hoping it magically changes into spag bol, I'm starving, did I have lunch? Got :coffee: so thats good. House is a tip, but it will be a quick tidy when caffeine kicks in.
Schools are on hols here, but I need to stop napping with DS2 and get my flying done so I can go over to see dad at lunch timeish to let dogs out and make him a cuppa. Want to try and do dishes and hoover for my Mum, she works hard, 6 days a week, 8am to 5pm so she is tried too. Or maybe start flying and leave the dishes and hoovering to Mum. dad bless him, is just no good at domestic stuff and as he has been house husband for the past year, the house a wee bit grotty, or am I just one of those horrid women who think housework is the new sex? Hope not, bit weird doing sex at my mum and dads!
off to stir the spag bol and offer prayers to the Goddess of turning stuff into edible food.0 -
hugs to you you poohbear

Oh, yes I can - will get something out for dinner and put it where the bl00dy dog can't get it!!! Got some franks out yesterday - put them on top of the fridge in the garage while I was quickly doing something else and promptly forgot about them! OH came home and brought in a munched up meat tray that he'd found outside. Of course, the franks were all gone and I had to do some quick shuffling around to get dinner on the table last night!
When will I learn???

Well I've half done the oven does that count??? A big thank you to whoever suggested however long ago that you soak oven shelves in washing powder- mine have been in there all day, and with a little vim and vigour with the metal scourer they are gleaming. I have reluctantly put them back in the dirty oven as I have run out of time - but, hey, babysteps - there is a kitchen day next week!!!!!:D
Anyway, if I just pay the online bills, I will admit to having a good day!
