Afternoon everyone,
finally managed to catch up the posts - how on earth do you find time to do any flying when you're on here all the time???!!!
I really worked hard yesterday, and just didn't get on the computer except to check emails. I did a mini blitz on the kitchen, and a Level 3 on the bathroom, which was left over from the end of last week. Now nice and sparkly, and no-one allowed to use it! Then, an hour and a half on the allotment, quick trip to Sainbury's, ten minute lunch and off to visit Mum, who was a little bit better. She is recovering from a second bout of pneumonia, and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that she regains enough strength to do a bit of physio. If she can sit out in a chair a bit, it will reduce the chance of more chest infections. It is all little tiny improvements, because there is no chance of bigger improvements or full recovery. The hospital is one of the Trusts that has recently been in the news:eek: - although there don't seem to be any problems on the ward where Mum is.
Today I was working, and fortunately the threatened rain held off. I just need to whip the vaccuum around the ground floor, as it is pretty much okay.
Have you read the thread elsewhere on the forum about not being motivated to do the housework? I wouldn't either, if I weren't so scared of Lil_me and pigpen...;)It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

The kick worked, now who was it that wanted one
KICK
I've now cleaned properly one side of the kitchen, all the cupboards and all the drawers have been emptied and cleaned out, all the ex's stuff has been removed and either he's having it, or it's going to be freecycled / binned. I've found 2 huge boxes of bendy straws - why do I need about 500 straws??
Anyway, I need a break now, then I'll go back and tackle the other side, which unfortunately for me has 2 junk cupboards and a lot of junk over that side. I've filled several bin bags recently that I think I need to go to the tip otherwise it's going to take weeks for them all to fit in the wheelie bin.

Hi folks, I am back much later than I thought. Funeral was probably better than expected, so many had good things to say about my dad that it made it easier for us.
I tried to do kitchen yesterday and living room today but I have just found they have been switched round! I have also cleaned the downstairs shower and three loos!
I am going to aim for level two each day and try to do an extra if I feel up to it. I am going to sit and have a cup of tea and read as many of your posts as I can until my family arrive home.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Kinders made themselves sandwiches for tea. I just couldn't be bothered.
Then they had left over pudding from sunday...haven't gone into the kitchen yet, so goodness knows what state its in!!
Will sort it out before bed. I also have a load in TD that I need to take out and sort and fold.
Apparently DD1 didn't eat at tea time with everyone else, she was too busy on the computer...she drives me mad!! She can have toast and be thankful!0
