Glad you've been out and are sounding determined. If OH decides not to come back, look on it as his loss and move forwards, be strong xx My mum would still worry about me if she was still alive, bless her. I think I would've given her plenty to worry about over the last few years!

  • Hi Pauline, first time poster in your diary. I've read plenty of diaries on here but never felt compelled to post, until now.
You've dealt with what happened in such a strong and positive way. You're becoming the kind of role model I like to see. No wallowing, no self pity (apart from mentioning the disappointment your mum might feel but she would not feel that at all) and we are all responding positively to your endeavours. How do you think someone looking in from the outside would say how you've handled this so far? Have a think.
Anyway, I'm going to continue reading your diary IF you keep up this positive mentality. Wallowing and over analysing does no-one any good at all. Move forward, keep walking, keep going to Asda, just keep being YOU. Because this IS you now. Take a look in the mirror and tell yourself "I'm doing pretty well."
Keep it up, oh and save money! ;)

  • Just popped in to say how upbeat you sound in the wake of some bad news.

Hope you continue to do well. Your lists look manageable which is a good idea.

    Love that word. :)

Hope your elderly neighbour is okay. It's good of you to think of him and make sure he isn't isolated. Such a worry for those who can't get out without putting themselves at risk.
