Well I'm even more confused now than before with who to go with,
I'm with AOL. and have stuck with them for years only because I didn't want to have to change my e-mail etc but I have been doing the "free radio trail" for "BT" which meant free broadband however thay have phoned today to say it is finishing shortly so I NEED broadband can't go back to dial up I have been told about "force9" which I haven't seen mentioned here so any ideas about them?
At moment paying £15.99 to AOL only use pc for sites not much downloading of games/pic/music just like to be nosy
please help me (took 3 days to load this reply page) lola please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
Force 9 is the same company as Plusnet - just a different brand name.

Well you won't have to do much digging on the Internet to find that whilst Tesco seem to be offering one of the best deals at the moment the roll out seems a shambles due to the very high demand....I nearly signed up with them but the comments have put me off..I'm sure they will be fine in 6 months time..
...I've trawled the web and the other best deal seems to be Supanet at 19.99 ..no down load limits/free modem/no connection/12 month contract
Does anyone know anything about them or any experience...It would seem they have the best unlimited 1mb price as well...but I don't want to sign up with an unreliable companyThe Early bird may catch the worm ...but its the second mouse that gets all the cheese!0 -
If you only want 512 broadband, then Demon do a similar deal (£19.99 a month, no activation, free modem, 12 months) and probably have a better reputation than supanet. Also you can sell/keep the free modem with Demon, the supanet one must be returned at the end of the contract.
Personally I think the 1Meg offer from supanet (£22.96) is unbeatable and that's what I've gone for - haven't been connected yet though...0
