  • I'd agree with the first poster - you can't beat e7even. £16.66pcm unlimited downloads and no port locks. The tech support is incredibly good (albeit by e-mail only), I typically get replys within 20mins max.
  • yeah, e7even is great... no problems so far. Only drawback was paying for the modem and paying the full year's fee upfront. Think maybe you could pay for 6 months, a year or two years... but you definitely couldn't pay monthly by direct debit

Uncapped 512 @ £16.99 ...... must be the cheeeeepest, I will be migrating next week.

    Oh migration BTW is £10.

I had this isp for 56k and never had any probs with them, was an exelent service.

Not 100% sure but think its a 3 month contract too, well the 56k was, U will have to check. My eyes are too tierd at the mo to read all the small print ....... lol

  • We have been with Tiscali for around 10 months, we always have trouble connecting and we have recently been mislead about Tiscali Smart Talk with their salesman giving us the wrong prices on call charges and when I tried to cancel Smart Talk I have had nothing but trouble, did you know that if you try calling the cancellation line from the number you have on account with Tiscali you are unable to connect, I have complained to Ofcon and BT only to find weeks later they have taken money from my account even though I have been told my Smart Talk had been cancelled (and I did this before the go live date). Tiscali is nothing but a major headache!!!

It sounds a good deal but to pay for something up front like that would make me think twice, in the world of ISP's these days you have to be careful they won't go out of business and take the bulk of the money with them.

I'm with PlusNet they have free on-line help and unlike BT all their phone help - even for the £14.99 package is via an 0845 number (lo-call). Most ISPs are 0870 numbers and the calls can cost a fortune.

If you take the BT package at that price - it's free on-line help only - phone help is an 0870 number and very costly.

i'm with debs626 (but not in the biblical sense!)

    V21 have just reduced their 512k package to £16.99 but i'm moving to 1MB @ £26.99.

All their packages are unlimited D/L's. ;D

I had a quick look at V21's T&C and noticed that if you want to migrate to a different ISP - they charge you £30 to give you the migration code you need.. which is "unusual" in my experience
