OP of £1,304.03 today for #11, making it £7,860.03 for the year so far.
First month with a new mortgage, I couldn't adjust the term (well, not easily, anyway) so £55k of OPs over the last five years made the monthly payment drop by just over £700 - so I've adjusted my monthly OP upwards to keep my total monthly outgoings the same.
This month's milestone is dropping under the £75k barrier, was less than a year ago that I was celebrating dropping under £100k so coming down fast now£40k-in-’23#18 £78,628.29/40,000 (196.57%)0 -

That is brilliant! I am looking at hitting the -£100k mark at the end of the year.
You are an inspiration. I won't be able to make anything like that as we are capped at 10% o/p but still aiming at halfing the term.
I think overpaying the mortgage should be classed as a hobby.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

#15 Reporting in. Just thought it would be useful to give an overall total for the year:
Jan - Nothing
Feb - Nothing (Couldn't make any over payments due to fulfilling the max payments)
March - £2072.30 (Start of the new yearly amount so I can make £8072.30 overpayments in total)
April - Nothing
May - Nothing (couple of expensive few months, new kitchen and gifted kids £1k each for House ISA)
June - £1500
July - £500 (Hope to make another £500 payment at the end of the month.
Total overpayments so far this year £4072.30 so over the half way mark (only just!)
