#11 with an OP of £630.99 for May, making £3150.99 for the year so far and taking me just under the £80k mark at £79,884
The rather odd amount (an extra £30.99 over my normal £600) marks the last month of my 'old' 5-year fixed mortgage, and makes it a nice round £55,000 in overpayments and saved interest since I took the mortgage out in 2013.
In other words, if I hadn't made a single OP in that time and just followed the agreed repayment schedule, i'd still be on £134,884 with ten years to run!!!, whereas at current course and speed I should be done in under three. Stretch target is to be done when my new two-year fixed expires in 2020...0 -

Hi everyone, I'm the new kid - hope it's not too late to join? We only got a mortgage in December and I've just made my first overpayment, really hoping not to be paying this off in 25 years time!
Overpayment goal for this year: £7.5k (might as well try!)
Overpayment for this month: £900
Welcome! You're #50.0 -

Sorry, life got super crazy with work the first half of April, and then I was away on holiday the second half of April.
