I just took an hour to go though my finances, rounding down each saving and current account to a nice double 00 number (and paying off a chunk of the 0% CC coming to an end in a couple of months). I've moved all the money freed up by this process to the mortgage, so I can proudly say I've overpaid £640.08 this month, taking me more than one third towards my 2k target :j

Next month I should finally get back the deposit from my rental, so there'll be another big OP...and then it'll be a drip throughout the year. But hopefully having OP in the first few months of mortgage will pay in the long run :)

#161 reporting another sneaky £38.70 to the mortgage. Total so far for April £166.22

Annoyingly, the balance has not changed for the last few days. I am beginning to suspect I may be paying off the interest rather than the capital. Which would be daft. Will monitor for another 2 days and then get put through to the right 'we know about your mortgage product' department, rather than the' balance checking ' deparatment.

£7,829.06 still to find to hit the target

Hi, number 41 checking in for the year so far (sorry for the delay). We'll, January was £36.62, February was £242.98 (when I started squirrelling it away) and March was £311.23. This month has been awful with one expense after another, so I don't think anything will be going into the overpayment pot for April unfortunately. Hopefully back on track in May! Thanks.
