  • Good morning All

Thanks Pawlala for keeping this going and I hope that you are OK Hiddenshaddow :)

September wage has landed so update for #169 £1,689.16 overpayment and capital reduction making my total £12,033.78/£12,000

Which means I have achieved my target for this year - much better than expected, but has also been down to my DS1 getting a job and paying his own way :):D Going to keep paying down - hopefully an extra £3,500 (about £2000 of overpayments and £1500 capital reduction). I have joined the grocery challenge for September now there are 3 of us again - just to make sure I have been realistic about being able to feed my DS1 for £25 per week. :)

    Good luck everyone:beer:

  • #25 reporting an overpayment of £650 for March 2018 and £25 for August 2018.

Having problems with mortgage company not taking my full payment after I have made an overpayment. I am trying to sort out. I now have £7,000 left to pay to get to the 10% mark. It's going to be a struggle, may miss out by £1,000.

#115 overpayment for August of £751

We've had our mortgage since April 2017 and have managed to knock off 11 extra months so far, I'm really pleased with that. We also now have a balance below £100,000! Ultimate aim is to be mortgage free in 10 years rather than the 14 we took the mortgage out for, or less if possible.
