it looks fine and tastes fine yum!!!
LOLOL glad you likedon't eat the lot in one go. If nothing else - too much warm bread gives you tummyache (yes i found out THAT one the hard way).
re: the scrapbooking - i had a look at shimelle's site. Unfortunately you have to pay for the classes, and i don't have a card to do that with. Its a lovely idea though. Might do it in future yearswhen i'm a bit better organised than this! (I usually am, but this year has been so all over the place.. )

I am very excited because I have just been to the Co-Op (I know when they reduce things.) I have just frozen a boneless leg of pork joint weighing 2.125K (don't know what that is in old money;) ) that cost me taa daa - £3.18.:T0 -

sshhhh if we ignore Xmas, then like annoying children in the park it might just go away!
jenagain, your little boy is lovely, great cakeicing is better than mine usually goes
Right, naughty, diverted from meal plan, couldn't be bothered today partly due to DP being a PITA! so was ready made pizzas for tea, in my defence 80p each from Iceland I ain't going to moan. I did do beef sandwiches for lunch with some sliced beef I found (ok it fell out of the freezer and I couldn't squeeze it back in)
morweena wish I knew when our coop did reductions, can be so hit and miss, popped in today but it's so hit and miss, sometimes they reduce by tiny amount (10p etc) first thing on a morning, sometimes it's not done until last minute with very little off and sometimes they knock loads off.
I did find a much cheaper F&V shop today, at least 3 of them on the high street (my first wander down there today since we moved) 65p for a tub of strawberries, 30p half a savoy cabbage, 10 satsumas for £1, grapes were under £1 a kilo instead of £3.99 a kilo in Tesco. Was happy bunnyCouple of cheapish butchers, 5 I think I spotted, but unsure what the quality is like, makes a difference from Durham town centre where there is only one independant butchers, same with F&V shop in the market so no competition. Will have to have a nosey down there on market day some time.
Think I should make more of an effort to stick to my meal plan, have still used up what I have rather than buying loads of stuff, freezer needs serious reorganising at some point and a proper inventory doing.
I think I have come a long way anyway, was just reflecting on this today when going through budgets and found last years total. 18 months ago I bought most things ready made, never made mashed potato never mind yorkhire puddings, always bought pre prepared veg, didn't do much baking couple of batches of fairy cakes or biscuits with the kids every month, we had at least 2 takeaways a week, most lunches we ate out, I earned more Nectar points in Brewers Fayre than any other shops including the supermarket. Cleaning stuffs I use much less of aswell. All the different things means our spending on groceries, cleaning and food stuff (inc takeaways etc) has halved, actually I spend less than half as it was over £800 a month sometimes. We're eating more healthily, baking needs to reduce as my waist isn't, but at least most of what I make now I know what is in it.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
