No I haven't but oh boy would I love to - I adore cherries! A while ago I bought a couple of punnets of nectarines that were completely tasteless, so I stoned and sliced them and put them in the freezer for crumbles (was going to mix them with other fruit to disguise the lack of flavour). Anyway, freezer was full to bursting and I had some leftovers I wanted to freeze so I defrosted the sliced nectarines to make space and dehydrated them instead- and they tasted great dried...the concentration of the flavour did the trick.People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

Nevermind Jamie for Nov... tis in the past and all that... keep moving forward! How many are you feeding for your budget? does that include cleaning stuff/toilet rolls?0 -

im feeding me, 3 boys 11,9 and 6 and 1 girl age 3, two chickens and four cats and a hamster, it includes all food, pet food, cleaning and toiletries.:) oh and nappies for dd and babywipesNovember NSD's - 70 -
Yes the fruit really gets much sweeter I find especially the bananas..
My dad has a cherry stoner thing I got him from Tchibo,*sorry another gadget*:silenced: Made him bring it over and sit and stone 3 lb of cherries for me poor soul:rotfl: They didn't last long though...I tried it with some frozen ones from Tesco's too and they worked just as well and they were ready stoned;)0 -

I feed myself, dh, 2 boys (3 and 5) plus 2 dogs for 200/month. We only buy night nappies (value) ones now and 1 pack of wipes per month. but will be increasing the budget to cover the chickens when we get them0 -
