Dee, good grief, thats not what I call a relaxing Sunday! Can you delegate anything? I would love to be an extra pair of hands if I thought I lived anywhere near!

Hmm "like" "ironing" not sure that you can use those in the same sentence. Can anyone here explain what the metallic triangular shaped smallish blob in the kitchen is for??

I know it's odd, but I love making everything tidy and putting it away. If anyone is up to entertaining my 3 year old while I work, I'd willingly trade a couple of hours ironing ha ha.

Just posted on the flylady thread about the ironing, I don't do that either unless I really have to, I think my iron is in the drawer, it became impossible with DS1&2 trying to get it done so I pretty much gave up. I would gladly look after kids before even considering ironing.

I've not done much cooking wise today but have made a meal plan, dug through the freezer etc, just finished a shopping list to go with it, next I need to check back through and make sure what I have on the list I don't have in hidden somewhere. Every week I have been taking at least 4 things back off the list that I have put on which I have found I already have in, other times I have tweaked the meal plan slightly so I have to buy less when I have found alternatives.
One day I might be more organised...........

Kaz thats a great tip for the onions I normally grow quite a few as like you I chuck them in most things I cook I'll definately remember to freeze some too in future thanks!!

Taurus its amazing isn't it how small things come out! I have not tried squash before will add that to my list of experiments..

Molly chuck us a hobnob!! They are gorgeous have you tried them before? My ultra fussy biscuit tester DS2 loved these he said they were better than the ones I buy in a packet..praise indeed thanks Twink!!

Boredofbeingathome That quiche sounds like a great idea thankyou!! I am running low on a lot of things but have plenty of those ingredients in stock

Jcr Oh blimey!! Get that fireplace fixed in time for Santa or I'll have to lend you one of my 'Magic Keys' instead

Jamie wow fab pics and that larder...ooh what a great idea!!! You'll be surprised how quickly it'll fill up next year when all your home grown produce kicks in :D Brilliant :T
  • wow dee - I'm shattered just reading what you've been up to today and what you have planned for tomorrow... I think I could use a lesson in time management from you - I get up at 6.30 every morning (without fail - DD aged 2 and DS aged 1 see to that!) and usually go to bed around 10.30/11.00pm but don't seem to get half as much done as you!!
Happiness is not getting what you want - it's wanting what you have :D
    (I can't remember the originator!)
  • Lil_me I used to be nicknamed the take back queen where I worked, but for some reason hate doing it now. I always feel v embarrased taking things back.
When we have tesco delivery, which I do mainly for the extra points, and they give me something I don't want as a swap I hate taking it back. I'd send it back with the driver, but last time I was told it could take a month to be re credited and I am still not sure they actually did it. I think that there policy has changed though because I ordered decaff diet coke ( yes I know, but I don't have many vices) and they sent me own brand caffeinated coke undiet! I complained and they gave me a full refund straight away. Sorry off topic!
