    Morning

Well done the boys eh:j I didnt watch it but I think I will be a fair weather sports fan and watch the final:D (when is it again?)

Went to Costco yesterday and left them with very little stock left:rolleyes: Like Grannyboon I bought enough kitchen towels and dishwasher tablets to last a year and managed to pick up some presents as well for christmas and forthcoming birthdays. Also got my cards, present bags and crackers as well so am well organised this year:D

By the way - those of you that do the Asda savings card thing (buying it on the day the bonus is added) the bonus day is 19th November. £6 free on £144. As I do a lot of shopping in Asda it makes it worth while for me.

I have put a bit of a parcel together for my brother with some old DVDs (3 for a tenner at Asda) and some sweets so hopefully the Royal Mail will deem to work long enough to get it to him. Apparantly they are deciding properly tomorrow

Today I need to have a clean around do a couple of washes and wash up:eek:
roll on the welcome return of my DW. I have a black and white leaping person coming for some lunch so Id best get the bamboo out of the freezer:rotfl: Think we will eat out as my new oven still isnt working   :shhh:

    Right best get on
Hugs to all who want em

    Morning All

Day at Wembley was great yesterday and obviously the result topped it. We were only 20 rows from the front this time (instead of being up in the clouds) and I had a lovely close up view of my hero Jo Cole who, I might add, played brilliantly. The sun shone all day and it was quite warm. Managed to get out pretty lively and had fun playing sardines on the tube.

Was exhausted when we got home so all had early nights and lie ins this morning. Still not dressed but just about to put some beef brisket in the slowcooker, wm on and then will go and get ready to take DS to his football match. OH will stay at home and continue painting my office. Hope to start putting stuff back in there later and have a lot more storage so will probably have a big declutter and sort out this week.

Very misty start here today so hopefully will clear soon to bright sunshine - that will do me a big favour as have loads of washing.

Best get off, have a lovely Sunday.

    Morning all,

Am back from Wedding and Honeymoon in Cyprus which was great, got back last Sunday and just got my head together!!

Went back to work Weds which is hectic. Had to bring some home, which I will have to do shortly - this week will be hectic so doubt if I will have much time to post.

At least the house work was done at the beginning of the week and as Oh is still out of work he will do most of it this week - me hopes. I did all my iroing last night. So today I have about an hours work to do, then must cook dinner, wash hair and bath and sort all bits and pieces out for the week. I have to be at work early tomorrow as I have a lot to do.

Hugs to anyone that needs it.

  • Good morning everyone, I never watch rugby/football matches but am always happy when the home teams win, so congrats to England rugby and Scotland football on their wins yesterday.

My bro did come yesterday and roof/chimney should be fixed by next weekend - thank goodness!

I will have to run as DS2 and fiancee are coming for late breakfast in half an hour. I have half prepared a Canadian breakfast recipe (fried potatoes, mushrooms, onion, pepper, grated cheese topped with a fried egg). Also having pancakes with maple syrup, bananas and cream.

    Have a great day !!!

probably pre winter blues - I used to get them a lot, then I bought a light box - used it once - lol as you have to sit in front of it for 30 minutes in the morning - yeh right. Before that I used to go to bed for a day or two - now I dont get so down and if I do I go to bed for the afternoon. I think its normal at this time of year. I just got back from being in the sun and hoped that perhaps that would help. When I got back I initially felt really down because its so cold here in comparison. It took until today to sort me out.

Can you take a week off and rest?
