Nationwide Select Cachback Reducing to 0.25% from 18th January 2018

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but I couldn't turn up any reference to it by searching the Forums.
Leaflet enclosed with my latest statement says the Cashback rate on my Nationwide Select Credit Card is dropping from 0.5% to 0.25% from 11th January 2018.
Does this apply to everyone, or only some customers?
It'll effectively render the card useless for me, as my 0% promo rate ends on 1st Feb too, so I'll be back to using Barclaycard (0.5% Cashback) from January.
