None if us are saying don't take the job (& please check that your understanding of the pay cycles is correct because I really can't believe it is)
You've been advised to check the situation with your job adviser (you don't even have to say you've got the job you could ask hypothetically). Is there any way that you could start putting a little by before you start the job?
Alternatively have you looked to see whether you'd be entitled to a back to work grant?
I understand what you're saying & the situation you're in but honestly it's now time to start thinking laterally about a solution to this situation0 -
I'm not sure why you think that tax payers should provide you with a sub - why not ask the employer and then it'll be you that is paying for your sub? When you ask the employer, I'd suggest dropping the attitude. Assuming that you weren't deliberately trolling to get a reaction.
That doesn't sound unreasonable to me, and I am a tax payer. 5 or 6 weeks to get the first payment of UC is a total ballache for anyone claiming it.Userbame5000 wrote: »Sangie. If you were to get off your high horse, and read what I actually wrote, you'd see that I am not asking to be subbed. I made that absolutely clear.
I am simply looking for advice as to how I deal with an issue where I do not get paid for two months. But your spiteful little input means the world, and will be taken on board by anyone and everyone I am sure.
Take care.
If you look at his posts you may find there's not much technically wrong in what he says, but is useless at actually answering questions in a decent manner. Unfortunately its not uncommon to be accused of trolling when asking legitimate questions online. Fact is the internet is full of vitriol.
With regards to UC, basically the bit between a rock and a hard place. The dam system is completely awkward, as is to be expected of something by UK government.
