I don't post on this, but really, the facts speak for themselves.
The paid work was good for you for a lot of reasons. But the unpaid work of looking after Youngest has to be done and it's a full time job. At a moment's notice, it can be a 24/7 job. And because there's no one else, it has to be you.
You only had one choice in front of you, because you were boxed into a corner by circumstances outside your control.
Hopefully as time passes on circumstances will be a bit kinder to you and yours, but until then all you can do is carry on with the job that's been put in front of you as well as you've done it so far.

Thank you so much for the replies, they mean a lot x
Smalls are back at school tomorrow, I will miss them
I have been shopping  I went to get something from the £ shop...
£3 in the £ shop on tupperware tubs. Just what I went for. Then it all goes wrong!
£3 in Iceland on a sack of potatoes..
£9 in Ald! on fruit/veg and juice!
£3 in Hombargains on water (Bottles for smalls lunches when really I could just refill the bottles
All in all I should have just gone in the £ shop and came home!
I have to be cautious now this week of what we spend. I have some change in the cupboard for school things as long as nothing bigger comes up from them.
We have plenty of food. I have decided to make SW Spag bol and Diet coke chicken this week so I have to [STRIKE]force[/STRIKE] enjoy eating with the smalls and be 'diet' friendly. Have made coleslaw and salads up, along with boiling the last of the old vegetables to make soup.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
At least it's gone on things that you know you will use, after all, you do have to eat.
Glad to hear you are making some meals for you.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I don't see anything wrong with any of that. You're going to use it all up. I mean it's not frivolous. is it? Make sure you eat some of that delicious food. And I have to ask what is diet coke chicken - that sounds interesting!Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Hello Wannabe!
I found you!I didn't realise who you were and although I was looking for your old diary all over the place I couldn't find it so I was woderig where on earth you had gone. I'm so glad you are back!
I've had to spend a few days catching up as this is one fast-moving thread; we natter nearly as quickly as you decorate!
Nobody on earth could think you bad for doing what you need to for you littlest small's health. You have made a sensible decision and one that is unlikely to last forever.
Here's hoping that things prove a bit less stressful for you now you have decided on a way forward. xDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Afternoon
Smalls back at school. They where in such a good mood this morning and everything went smooth. Was surprised :rotfl:
Managed to get all the cleaning done I wanted, but have added a few things onto my list for this afternoon. Cleaning windows mainly!
Spent way too many hours reading up Slimming world things last night and didn't put my phone down until gone 2amOpps!
Tomorrow marks 8 Months since I first came back and started this journey again. Wow a lot has changed!
Post this morning included confirmation I qualify for the £140 Warm home rebate thing and it will be through within 28 days for the electric meter. This will help massively. I thought it would have been for the Gas but it definitely says its for the electric top up.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Really pleased that the smalls liked to go back to school today, it makes things so much easier doesn't it?0
