Following on from wannabe's post above please can I make a plea to those who read and post from mobiles, for some reason the MSE forum when read on mobile phones has the spam button right where people tend to scroll down - as a result the spam button gets pressed and MSE have set up the boards up so that if the spam button is pressed more than x times the thread is automatically deleted and cant be reinstated.
A few months ago this happened on Old Style with a very long running thread and people were up in arms.
So please be careful when you scroll on diaries because if you accidentally press spam and so do loads of other people then diaries will just go *!!!!!!* and disappear:mad::eek:0 -
I've heard if a diary gets a bit long and the spam button is hit by accident it just deletes. Normally if someone hits spam the board guides check it out and there's NOTHING on there to be offended at so I would think it was just an error.
Anyway, nice new home and fresh start. For my tuppence worth, I'd ignore where OH used to get his tree and just buy a cheap fake one0 -

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Same with iPads. I've caught the spam button before by mistake and had to send an apology to the person whose diary it was. It shouldn't be on the far right, too easy to catch it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

It is I've done it before
Well I think I can safely say today is a NSD :rotfl:
Other than making a coffee and having a shower I have sat on the sofa ALL day! I must get off it now and do something or I think I might just become part of the sofa and never move again :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
As a rule, I always scroll down on far right of screen on any device I use. However, folks that aren't so used to tech don't remember the days of having to use direction keys or the mouse for everything...
Yeah, touch-screen tech is great... when you know what you're doing with it...

I admit I am pretty useless. I can't watch TV because it went off and I don't know how to get it back on :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
That honestly made me :rotfl:

Turn it off at wall socket...
Wait a minute or so...
Turn on at wall socket on again...
Wait for everything to come back on...BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
