See people are listening and not panic buying.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”6 -
That is absolutely shocking. I’m not in the city just now and although I had been told the panic buying was bad I didn’t realise it was that bad. There really is no need for it. I’m appalled that people can be so selfish.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

We went to 4 different supermarkets. All very similar. See the #bekind mantra lasted.
Still here as didn't get to the pawn shop. I think we will try and get out very first thing tomorrow to local town. Then pray the bus into big town isn't too busy. No doubt it will still be chaos. It's actually worse than at Xmas. People where waiting outside Asda this morning over an hour before it opened.
I have no choice as I really need to get these bills paid so I'm up to date enough to stay in for at least the next 4-5 weeks. DD says she doesn't feel great tonight so is tucked up in bed. No temperature or anything but it's definitely not helping the anxiety and I'm still double dosing on meds.
Think when the time comes to actually staying in and not leaving again will do the 4 of us some good.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”9 -
It is disgusting how much some people are stockpiling.....the shops should have limited the amount people can buy long ago. Other countries don’t seem to be having this trouble...
I’m sorry you’ve had to pawn things - it makes my blood boil. If the DLA had not messed you about - none of this would have happened.January spends - £587.587 -
Given how everyone is behaving out there in the real world I don't want to come out of isolation...7

It makes you wonder when Boris states he believes people here will listen to advice and don't need to be forced as we are civilised. I don't think so. The cafes in local town today where still busy. The shops where the busiest I've ever seen ever. People where pushing and grabbing things. Grown adults?
Greenbee you're right. It makes me want to avoid the world forever. It makes me sad what I've brought children into. I use to think those who act that way where the minority but it seems those with common sense and thoughts for others are actually the minority“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”6 -
Can you not pay the bills over the phone?
I went out for lunch today to support a local business in anticipationtime of it being the last time my mum & I will be out for a long time. WE will have no yoga & no routine. My mum particularily will find this especially hard as she is a very social person. Obviously there will be many many in the same position.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. It's awful beanie. SA has closed. Many of the more vunerable locally relied on there for their only contact with others. It makes me feel so sad. Many are going to be so lonely.

beanie - my pilates classes are being moved to online, and I know my cousin is about to start teaching her yoga classes online too. It might be worth asking whether you can do classed online. If not there are already some videos you can get online, so maybe you could do those, and then have a chat and a coffee afterwards. If you're isolating separately, then doing the class at the same time on line and having a phone or video chat afterwards works well too.6
