Wow, people who resist coffee are awesome! I hope you have had some now (though the wrong end of the day if you want sleep, I suppose).
Just a thought about this keeping yourself occupied business: does your library have an app so you can borrow books or magazines online? If you could download somewhere with free wi-fi, even a magazine would help pass the time of day. You might be able to get audio books too.
I've found a link that might help - will pm you. xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

So glad it seems to be going well, you've handled all this amazingly!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Poundland for arts/crafts stuff for DD's birthday present maybe WF? You can get a fair bit of value for money there. Could you maybe get a blank scrapbook and then see if you can pick up a bundle of kids comics/magazines for next to nothing in a charity shop that she can then cut out and stick in?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thats a good idea for the scrapbook EH I will have a look. I also plan on pinching an idea from someone else and making up instructions for little craft ideas rather than buying an actual 'kit' I will make the instructions and put in a little bag the items needed for that activity. Will look in Poundland/SA for a teddy or maybe an item of clothing as they all seem to be moving up a size. DS is taller than me and DD isn't far behind.
We weren't late this morning and remembered everything - taking that as a win today. We are all getting a bit grumpy!
DD is on countdown to half term - she's even more impressed she's off school for her birthday and DS won't be as his is once they are back :rotfl:

She's never been in on her birthday either, it's always half term. However the other two are when they just go back after half term so they are always in!

Not suprised you are all getting a bit grumpy, its been a full on month for you, but you are so close to the end now you must be really looking forwards to having (for you) a rest and not travelling to hospital and having to rush to get the other 2.

Hi WB
The little craft kits sound lovely. DD's birthday always fell during half term as well.
DD is slightly smaller than me and at her age I think she'll stay that way, but DS is taller which feels odd. It comes in handy when I need something reaching off a shelf though :rotfl:
Is tomorrow your last day at hospital or do you have to go over the weekend as well? xx0 -
Thank you
We are there all weekend too. Just 4 more daysThen next week will be pretty busy too. I have an appointment myself Tuesday. Then something at school Wednesday. Thursday the smalls will want to bake and make cards to give me Friday. Always busy :rotfl:
