Fantastic news about DD, I really hope the treatment continues to go well, got everything crossed for you xx
Not good news about the CT, hope you can get it sorted before it goes any further. There always seems to be something stopping you from moving forwards financially.
The news about DD far outweighs the CT position thoughI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Very good news about DD2 and hope she continues to do well. That could make a big difference hopefully.
I am not really clued up on benefits. Is it too late to ring the council Monday and arrange a payment plan? All I know is Universal credit and council tax support are 2 separate systems so I guess one affects the other. I am a little concerned you are going to use your rent to pay it as that is also a priority bill but at the moment you have little options I guess. Please make sure you ring and explain and make an arrangement to make up any arrears. Hopefully your finances will get on to a more even footing once the hospital trips are less. That DLA would really help.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Afternoon. Thank you for all the replies. Another good day for youngest
Also money in/out day. Have paid the council tax. Going to get a letter wrote and copied and send it first class tomorrow.
Need to get the smalls and then do dinner and baths etc. Need to make some more snacks for lunches etc tonight too. DS is going to a friend tomorrow so I will just have the girls. Think DD is going to her friends Sunday. It halves the train cost is another positive. Cannot wait until this is all done. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Anyway hope you all have a lovely weekend x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Evening
Everyone's finally sleeping.
Going to sit with a cuppa and do the meal plan. Think I'm converted to Ic3land. I've never seen youngest willing to eat so much. She also ate salmon today! I don't really post about her eating as although I always give her a meal it's very very rare she actually eats anything. She seems to find one 'thing' and that will be the only think she eats for weeks then it switches (except toast she will eat a whole loaf if she could). So any variety is progress.
Anyway meal plan time. I better get on with it x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
(((hugs))) honey.... sending good thoughts your way. XXI Believe.....

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Afternoon
Thank you chrystal x
I got the meal plan done. Have added everything to my Iceland basket. Need to figure out the best time to get the delivery. It's free delivery so cheaper than walking there and getting a taxi back and I don't have to take everyone. Win win.
It's around £83. It mainly includes meat and veg. I don't need breakfasts or baking things yet. Just main meals and lunches.
I won't post the whole boring list. I also got the letter done to post to the council tax. Need to post that this afternoon
I didn't get to bed till gone 2am and we had to be out the door for 6.15 this morning. Shattered.
Everything still going to plan with youngest.
DS is at his friends I just have the girls.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
I can help with the Council Tax issue, even though you have paid it you might be due some of that money back.
What you were told about UC fluctuating monthly is mainly for workers who's income varies every assessment period. I think this is their standard stock response to any questions that concern UC.
I'm not always on here so please feel free to text or WhatsApp me, I hope you still have my number.
I will send you a PM and we can communicate that way.0 -
