    Thank you

The weather is still very wet and very miserable.

Appointment went okay. Feel happy with what we've decided together and for the next 2 week's we are stepping back from the hospital. Continuing as normal. Enjoying xmas and focusing on now. Making 'memories' and just doing xmas like it should be. We will pick up where we've left off on the 27rh. Probably with a fight to give the current regime longer. But until then I want to try and just enjoy now.

So I'm still here. Howver if I'm quiter it's because I'm in the moment of Enjoying time and making the most of it.

I really appreciate all your replies, messages and everything else

    x

Morning WB :) Glad the meeting went well and you're happy with what's been decided. Good to hear you've been given the OK to have a break from hospital and all the stress that goes with it.

Not long to go now until the Big Day. Bet the children are getting busy at school with things aren't they. I imagine excitement levels are rising on a daily basis :D

    Enjoy making the memories. xx

    Thank you.

I'm not sure I'm happy with what we've decided. I feel like I've given up and it's a huge step back. But undo feel it's important we spend some time being 'normal' over Xmas for the 3 of them.

We have been crafting. Going to make curry for tonight's dinner with flatbreads and while the oven is on we will make xmas biscuits.

Really trying to keep myself busy. I'm struggling with things :o I feel really fed up of stuff going on in the background etc.

Hope you all have a good weekend x

It used to be that if you received certain benefits you could reclaim your travel costs directly after your appointment, is that not still the case? There used to be a cash office at our local hospital you popped too with your appointment card/letter and receipt for travel and they'd refund you or pay mileage if you'd gone by car.

Hope you have a quiet and peaceful Christmas.

Just had a quick google and yes, the NHS travel health scheme will reimburse you. Please look into it to make your journeys easier for all of you.

You need to be on tip top form yourself so all that walking (whilst great for getting the steps up) isn't great if you're cold/wet/feeling a bit below par.
