Hi WB :) When I think I sound like I'm moaning but I'm not, I always say, I'm not complaining, just explaining ;)

Sounds like you have a very busy day ahead of you and a lot of walking. :( Hope you all manage to stay dry.

Shame you won't make it to the school event but you won't be the only one so don't worry about it too much. You can only do what you can do and your situation is very different to most people's. xx

Probably a stupid question, since your youngest has (I think I am correct) a nurse sometimes and so many hospital appointments, can you not get free bus and train travel for her? I know its possible with some councils, not sure about yours or which bigger transport area it would come under :(

    Thank you

DD made me feel so bad this morning about the school thing. I can't stop thinking about it :(

It is a lot of walking. It's raining again. Not as bad as yesterday but still spending the day wet.

Spends so far have been the train fare nearly £10 and school £15. Have enough left to get milk and bread on the way home but then it pretty much leaves the bank empty (74p)

IVs and things running to give the numbers a boost. Have the review Tomorrow with the team so need to be back over here again tomorrow. Have a lot to think about before then and what I'm going to say. Going to make sure I write down my thoughts when I get home tonight so I can get my thoughts across without missing things.

Susie no when she had DLA I travelled free and just paid the child fare. There's hospital transport for some appointments but it doesn't fit in around school so I can't use it.

    Evening.

We got home just before 7. So haven't got anything else done that I needed to get done. Smalls fed and in bed.

Just having a cuppa before getting on with the to do list and getting ready for tomorrow
I feel I know where my heads at and what I want to say so hoping I feel like that tomorrow. Will be popping in to vote after I've dropped the smalls at school and on the way to train station.

You've got the really important things done, and writing down what you want to say will be helpful - especially if they have a copy, but maybe they could photocopy yours so you don't have to write it all out again (or you could take a photo as a reminder for you and give them your written notes).

I hope you get some rest tonight. x

Evening WB :) Totally agree with Cherry that you've got the important things done that need doing. I know it doesn't sit comfortably with you not being in your usual routine and on top of things but hopefully you'll all be back to normal soon.

Good idea to get everything written down. Even if you know what you want to say it's so easy to forget things. I think Cherry's idea of handing a copy of your queries/concerns/points of view over for them to put on file is a brilliant idea.

Hope it all goes well and you get the outcome you're hoping for. xx

    Afternoon

Thank you. I have wrote my lists and resdy for this afternoon's meeting.

I didn't get to bed till nearly 3am :o Then we were up and out by 7am. Older two dropped to school. Went and voted. Then into town to get the train into the city and here by 9am.

Bloods and things done. Waiting for results before this afternoon's meeting. Although I know what I'm going in with no matter what the results say.

Youngest is still well in herself and being bribed by custard creams and har!bo

Hope you all have a good day

    I hope today goes well.

I really hope we get a government with a bit of compassion that can sort out the benefit fiasco. The wait for your DLA assessment has been absolutely ridiculous   If you get a new MP tomorrow (or even the same one), do you think you could get them on the case?

I hope the meeting goes well. The DLA wait is absolutely disgusting- how long have you been waiting now...I know it’s been a long time. I definitely think a letter to the new MP would be in order too.
Take care of you too - rest as much as you can and prioritise by just doing essentials until you feel better yourself.
