Apparently all the baby unicorns are quite little this year and Father Christmas think they would be happier with the mummy unicorns till they get bigger. Just thought you should know.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Thank you lucky and cherry
Cherry I'm going to use that excuse in Santa's reply to her it's perfect! Along with excuses why she can't have everything else she's asked for! I'm glad the older two understand a bit more and are realistic.
Girls are finally settled and it's time to grab a shower and coffee. Not feeling 100% myself I think a mix of hospital germs and worry mixed with lack of sleep is catching up. I need to top my phone up as I've run out of data using it so much in here.

Morning
Youngest has developed a cough again and a few spikes in her temp so swabs been sent off to check its just the tail end of the current bug.
Not sure what I'll do to entertain them today but I will need to go and top my phone up so they can watch TV on it. I don't really pay for the TV in hereit's really expensive.
Hope you all have a good Sunday x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
I hope it's just the tail end of her bug causing the temperature rise.
I've always thought it was awful that you have to pay to watch tv in hospital. It penalises people who can't afford it . I didn't watch tv in hospital when I had appendicitis because of the expense so I got very bored.
I hope you manage to top up your phone. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I really want to get home tea. I have so much to do and so much on at school etc.
Although I have my own appointments first thing in the morning and I've made it okay to leave youngest while I go. Plus the older two will be at school. So I'm going to try and get the bits I need for Xmas in the morning and have a coffee on my own. As once she's home I think it will be harder to get out alone. I doubt she'll be back in school full time this side of Xmas.
I still have painting and stuff to get done at home too which I haven't even really made a start on.
So much on the to do lists.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Bless the little one and her Christmas list.
Hope it’s just the end of the infection and nothing else.January spends - £587.580 -
Boo to still being at the hospital
It's criminal that you're charged to watch TV there, it should be free, really annoys me. When Mr SA was on the cancer ward it was free but not on other wards.
May be of interest that Aldi are doing a large unicorn toy for £19.99 next week, would this suffice for the little one?
Fingers crossed you'll be home soon xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I know I hate paying for it so rarely do. We just use my phone but it's due to be topped up tomorrow so the data's run out
I'm on an open WiFi but it's not strong enough to watch netfl!x
She would love that SA. I keep looking in the charity shops. My budgets around £5 each I could stretch a bit more but I'm already spending the food budget at thatI will keep looking though thank you x
