Thank you x
Have been home and done some of our washing and had a shower etc. Checked what's in so I can sit and finish the meal plan tonight. Really trying to keep busy. Have got the smalls Christmas letters to finish so I can send them their replies. Also need to chase some admin for youngest and have my own appointments to attend on Monday hoping that brings me some sense of getting on with it instead of struggling.
Also need to start looking for the Xmas gifts that need ordering online. 32 days to go! It's crazy how fast it's coming round. I feel so unprepared and everyone else seems so organised.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Glad to read that youngest DD is feeling better. Forgive me if I'm asking out of turn, but is there anyway you could speak to the school about the afterschool care costs? I can't think of a single Head I've worked for who would dream of charging for wrap around care in such circumstances where you are juggling a child in hospital with 2 at home. For a short term measure to help you while DD is in hospital, might it be worth discussing it or asking ?paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

HSL they have heavily reduced the cost. For the first time it hasn't been a worry. They've not expected the money upfront and like I say it's much lower than previously. The school have been wonderful and have been giving them support too x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

I’m pleased to hear the other 2 are getting help coping with everything. The older they get the more realisation they have. It must be so hard and I don’t think you realise just how well you are doing.
Its lovely that little one is well enough to be getting excited about Christmas. I really hope she stays well for it all.January spends - £587.580 -
I'm so glad that school are being supportive

I hope shes well enough to be home for it too. As long as she realises santa can't really deliver a real unicorn and the 10 other requests we've had so far :rotfl: the older two are quite a bit more realistic than her. She thinks Santa can make and deliver anything. When you tell her it's highly unlikely that will be there Xmas morning she answers don't worry santa will bring it :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0
