When they start asking for entertainment you just get the feeling they've turned the corner.
It's so good to hear it. I hope you all get some rest tonight. xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning
Thank you chrystal hope things are okay x
Someone's come in overnight with confirmed influenza type A. Youngest is already on tamiflu so fingers crossed it doesn't catch her. This is the worst time of year for sure. I wish I could keep her in a bubble
She's been up playing in her bed this morning and requested toast. Definitely feeling better now she wants food.
Not sure what the plan is med wise now. I really hope we can stay as we were and we don't lose the unlicensed med. While this has been really scary she did have the longest we've ever had in between admissions.
Need to go to the supermarket and pick some bits up today.

December budget
Outgoing
Rent £480.55
Council Tax £85.40
Water £49.40
Gas/Electric £120
Phone Credit £10
Bus Pass £54
Tv License £12.56
School 'other' £25 (Non uniform/Xmas fayre/craft morning/going watching Xmas plays and i owe for the childcare I've needed to use)
Travel £25 (this won't cover it I don't think)
Food/everything else £115 (This month this needs to prop up travel. Needs to cover paying school for the after/before school clubs I've needed to use. Food. Xmas.) Probably broken done like (£15 travel, £25 towards school, £50 food, £25 Xmas)
Today I think I'm going to get DD started on drawing an advent as we still haven't and it will keep her occupied. Youngest can draw Xmas pictures if she feels she wants but she's too busy playing with some of the wards toys.
Just having my first coffee of the day and trying to work out everything that needs to be done.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Thank you Jwil she's definitely improving.
She wants to put the Christmas tree up at home and things so definitely feeling healthier. It's scary how quick that can change. I wish I could do more.
Girls have made a countdown to Christmas and we've had handprints and footprints done by the play workers to make an Xmas card. We don't really have anyone to send cards too so they've decided to send them to each other.
I have lists of things I need to do as long as my arm.
I really hate these shorter days of light.
Just going to take DD for some dinner and get a coffee.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
That is so good to hear. Fingers crossed that the improvement continues and you get her home soon. I really don't know how you manage to do all of this. Think that coffee is very well deserved. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Thank you TF I hope she's home soon and remains well enough to enjoy Xmas. I feel like she has so much to still experience and all the magic of Christmas etc is still very much alive in her eyes. She's convinced Santa will be expecting cookies and milk. Where as I'm finding it harder with DS now he's older it's so much harder to explain the difference in families and things. I think he's struggling to feel like he fits in with his group of friends as the majority are from totally different set ups to us and don't have the complications of hospitals and having to see the things they do. they both receive counselling and it's becoming more apparent DS is quite angry about some of the things. I'm sure it will all work out. I try not to post too much as I feel like it's so public and they deserve the privacy but it's hard to find time to deal with it all and find time to do everything.
Anyway coffee rescues me enough to carry on although it's definitely getting harder as time goes on and it gets more serious. It was hard at the start but we had options and now we've run out of options it's just harder and harder.
That was a long ramblesorry
