It is cold isn't it? I went out to sweep up and came back in for a cuppa instead :rotfl:

DS only has the one item of clothing that's branded - he doesn't really ask but I can tell he literally loves it. He wears it nearly everyday :o

  • I bet your kids will have better memories of the fun day than the ones who spent it on the rides (that you can get anywhere!) I still remember the fire brigade coming to one of our school fetes, it was the best thing there by miles!

Sounds like you had a lovely day out. Those prices are awful.

I really hope your DLA is sorted soon and it’s all backdated - thinking positive thoughts for you

Your smalls will have fantastic childhood memories to look back on, you do everything you can to make things fun for them. Proof that you don't need a lot of money to make memories xx

Just think when they're all grown up and working they can keep you in a life of luxury :)

    Thank you :)

SA I won't hold my breath apparently the smalls say they are staying with me forever so I can look after them :rotfl: I'll enjoy it why I can I'm sure that might change when the teenage years hit :o

Don't laugh at that - don't forget I've still got my DD living with me at the age of 32 :rotfl: Not keeping me in luxury I hasten to add but at least she pays board :)

As long as by the time they're 32 they sleep better I don't mind :rotfl:

I'm tired :o Smalls are fed, bathed and are watching a DVD.

I need to do school lunches and polish school shoes, clean the floors before I can shower and head to bed myself.

We have an early morning and late evening tomorrow. The late meeting is making me feel anxious that my routine will be broken :o I hate it so much!

I hope the late meeting is for something positive and not something you've got to 'deal with'. :o

Is there anything you could let go just this once so you don't feel like you've got too much to cram in when you get home. Maybe pass on the baths as a one off or just gear yourself up mentally for the smalls going to bed at a set time but later than usual?

I know you like routine so I can imagine this won't be as easy as it sounds. xx
