  • Corner shops are expensive but we all have to resort to them at times.

It's lovely that DS and DD1 are at a carers event. I hope they enjoy it and that little DD likes the home baked biscuits :).

Try and live one day at a time Wannabe. That's the only way I'm coping without my mum. If I looked ahead and thought about living the whole of the rest of my life without her, then I'm not sure I could cope :(. Sometimes it's best to be fully in the present. Sorry if that doesn't help you, but it's how I cope at the moment :o.

    Thank you x

So mad tonight. Seeing 'family' posts on social media of everyone together yet again ... I usually bite my tongue but I was very childish and commented tonight :o shouldn't have but still ticks me right off when they don't even reply to my texts. Ugh.

Anyway smalls are all in bed and everything ready for school tomorrow.

Need to straighten my hair and do my floors... Not at the same time. I'm not that good :rotfl:

Have a busy week if chasing stuff. Another thing that's annoying. Chasing !!!!!! that should just be sorted. Still no pharmacy delivery. Rolls eyes. Despite the fact I've paid over £60 out on things in the order - another fight I'm sick of losing.

Also need to call family fund about the holiday. It needs to be paid or cancelled soon. Ideally if they are helping to it I want to move the date to sooner.

Lots of other stuff to try and get my head round too.

At least being busy means I can't sit driving myself anymore mad than I already am ;)

That must be equally hurtful and annoying with the family WB. Can't believe they don't even reply to your texts especially with what you've been dealing with lately :(

Hope FF can help you out with the holiday and if you get to go sooner rather than later even better.

I've come to the conclusion there is always something to sort out in life and always somebody's job you have to do for them :o xx
  • I'd be tempted to unfriend them all on FB Wannabe .

I'm just picturing you with a floor mop in one hand and hair straigheners in the other hand now :rotfl:.

I hope your stuff arrives soon.

I realise I should just stop reaching out to them. I know we are at different stages of life obviously and in different situations and a lot of their plans we don't fit it in to. Me and the sibling are complete opposites. Done the complete opposite (she works full time/no kids/bought her house etc) where as I am obviously the opposite and I know I haven't met 'expectations' I was just hoping there could be a middle ground. Not like I'm asking them for anything. Just a cuppa/a chat etc. Meh. I'd say I don't care but I obviously do :o I've received more help and support from 'strangers' than I ever have from them.

Anyway I'm over my childish moment :o

Got my stuff done, made a cuppa and come up to bed.

Feel really anxious and panicky how skint I am :o

Going to find a book to read

Thank you again for all stopping in

    x

  • Parents and siblings shouldn't have expectations Wannabe, they should love you just as you are. It's very difficult for you not to react as you're only human and that kind of thing can be very hurtful. If you feel you can't unfriend them could you unfollow them instead? Then you won't have to see their posts?

I hope you find a good book to read and sleep well :).

Sorry HH cross posted. I've 'unfollowed' on insta :o and removed them from following me so they can't see what I post either (not that I post much)

    Probably for the best x

That's a really good idea Wannabe :T. Nothing good will come from you seeing their posts and why should they know what you're doing?
