Morning
Just having a brew before I sort the smalls out. Hoping they can walk to school with a neighbour. I shouldn't need to go out anywhere today if so.
I do have some cleaning I want to do if I get chance. Have to call the GP and things and have other things to chase up.
Other than that there's not much happening here - let's hope this is the start of being boring again!
Have a lovely day

Sorry cherry cross posted with you.
Thank you
Enjoying the smalls and making them happy and have memories that are happy ones is my top priority. The future scares me and I'm sure it does them too. I can sit thinking why us? Why our little family? What have we done so wrong. Lots of why's but that isn't helping them be happy. We have memories to make and need to make the most of it. Once the debt is gone that will be easier to be more focused on that.
Some things are changing here and other things need to fit into our routine etc. It's all a big change and one that while was obvious isn't what was expected (sounds stupid huh)
Anyway better get the smalls ready
Thank you

Morning WB
Hope you managed to get some sleep. The new budget looks better and in just a few weeks the council tax and rent will go down so you'll have even more left over. :T
If the changes are going to benefit you and your family then get them in place as soon as you can.
I can understand you thinking 'why us' but you haven't done anything wrong. Life just throws things at us and we have to deal with stuff as best we can. Considering you're on your own and at times it's obviously a struggle, you do really well keeping it all together. The little ones have food, a roof over their head and most importantly a mum who loves them and has their best interests at heart.
It sounds like you've lived with a lot of judgemental and negative comments in the past but you really should give yourself more credit. Believe in yourself! xx0 -
I hope today goes well and you get some answers.
Don't be too hard on yourself, you have so much to deal with and do it admirably on your own. As you told me, spending time and making memories is more important than anything else. Don't neglect yourself and glad you've got some respite so you can attend your own appointments.
Don't worry about feeding your kiddies 'rubbish' you don't do it all the time and sometimes needs must.
Take care xx"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thank you.
Housing weren't very helpful tbh. They where going to have a look into etc and get back to me. However the 10 working days will be up and I just can't have the worry of the house hanging over me. That was the whole point in clearing the arrears.
I've swapped the debt around. I know some won't agree but it just makes me feel better.
I'll pay the debt as the above budget. £33 a week until it's gone - this way I can't be made homeless. I won't have the bailiffs at the door etc.
Youngest is struggling a bit today so probably won't get much other than normal stuff done. I'm so tired I didn't think it was possible to be getting less sleep than I was in hospital.
Stop the world - I want to get off. Sums up today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Sorry to hear housing weren't helpful, but it probably comes as no surprise
If the new arrangement keeps the wolf from the door and a roof over your head and also eases your stress levels a bit then I don't see why anybody wouldn't agree with what you've chosen to do - least of all your friends on here
Hope little one picks up as the day goes on. xx0 -
For once they where quite reasonable. They didn't know what to suggest so needed to look into it and why. At least now the roof over our head is secure.
Still feeling sorry for myself todaydropped the smalls at school and bad a good cry about it. I never cry ever!
Anyway self pity over
I baked the smalls biscuits for their pack lunches. I really need to do the food shop I still haven't checked outnot sure what's for dinner tonight. Probably a freezer meal of leftovers
brilliant parenting :rotfl:
