That's a pain being unsure about tomorrow but hang on in there, you never know. You've a lot of time to just sit and think at the moment so no wonder you're worrying about everything. Easy for me to say I know, but try to take each day as it comes. I really hope you get home for Saturday though. xx0

A chippy tea won’t do anyone any harm - it’s not as if it’s regular. I hope you are home for weekend but it’s no good going home before she’s ready and ending up doing an emergency run in the middle of the night again. Hang on in there.January spends - £587.580

Fingers crossed you're home for the weekend. I can't believe their dad has been so unhelpful. I'm apalled that the people in your life who should be helping aren't.

I'm glad you were able to get chips - and a 'proper' meal - and that the youngest is catching up on some sleep. You're an absolute wonder juggling all this and if you run better on coffee, who has the right to say otherwise?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thank you x
Morning
No change really here. Still waiting for things to settle and get back to normal numbers and things.
No change on the financials. Not paying anything yet until we know when we will be home. Or we won't be able to eat and get to school etc
By next week we should be back to normal and then I'll play catch up.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you again for all the replies and support

Good work doing the chippy tea thing - easier. cheaper and probably far more enjoyable!
Hope things are settling down a bit now and you do get home for the weekend. With DS how about asking him if he'd prefer a bought cake on his actual birthday, or whether he'd rather he gets to choose another day to celebrate his birthday and you'll make him a cake for then? Strikes me that they might actually prefer to wait a bit for a home made one, from what you've said?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Fingers crossed you get home this weekend for a little bit of normal-ness for you all, but of course not at the detriment of DD2's treatment.
