Thank you tea. I know I have loads to do at home too especially with being DS birthday

A bit of a boring day nothing really much to update. Youngest seems to be feeling a bit better as the day goes on. She's asleep again she has a lot to catch up on :rotfl:

I actually bought some proper food today :o had jacket potato with cheese and salad. Considering take the smalls to the chip shop on the way past :o I'm sure it will be much cheaper than what it is here and probably just as unhealthy! We'll make it up for it once we are home it's not a regular thing :o

I'm just going to give up on tracking the financials here until we are home. Theres obviously been school costs, taxi's, coffee :o and food for everyone. Plus a phone top up. I will still write it in my own diary though not falling of the mse wagon. I think it just gets a bit 'samey' and against the point of mse when it's all taxis/coffee/food and school :o

Thank you for listening to me ramble

  • I think you are doing really well to keep the costs as low as you have. I’d have spent a fortune on chocolate and crisps by now :o. And that’s just for me not the kids  Xx

It's coffee that's my downfall lucky :o I could drink loads even more so when I'm tired.

I just hope we get home tomorrow I can't afford to stay any longer bill day tomorrow :o Had a huge disagreement with their Dad last night that hasn't helped my mood. He's such a selfish **** managed without him anyway but still not the point. It's really annoyed me. I could rant for hours but that's not for here :o :rotfl:

Can't believe it's nearly weekend again! DS is so excited for his birthday he's driving me mad :rotfl: after school club are giving him cake and singing happy birthday tomorrow as obviously it's Saturday. He's also star of the week so will get a certificate.

Hi WB. Has anybody mentioned whether you'll be home for the weekend? It's DS's birthday on Sunday isn't it?

A vote for the chippy from me. I always think it's a fairly cheap takeaway meal because the portions are so big we end up sharing things and it's still more than enough.

I'm with PLMBL. You could have my share of coffee but I'd definitely struggle with the crisps and chocolate machine :rotfl:

Hope you have a good night. xx

Cross posted WB, got DS's birthday wrong :o What a lovely thing for after school club to do and well done him for getting star of the week.

Sorry you're at loggerheads with DC's Dad. It's a shame for whatever reason he hasn't been able to have the elder 2 for you while you've been in hospital or at the very least taken them out for tea :( xx

Me too!!! Something from the chippy won't do them any harm now and again (Health Visitor told me that once!) and if it's cheaper go for it. They'll probably look upon it as a treat. And make sure you eat something yourself. xxx

It's looking like we won't be home tomorrow. Still possible - but don't get my hopes up was the words.

Youngest is still feeling it quite a bit and is sleeping again, she's okay though things should settle again once everything is back working as it should.

Older two had a good day at school. We did call in the chippy on the way home. Much cheaper at under £8 for all 3 of us including 2 cold drinks for the smalls.

Posting this now, won't be any changes to update tomorrow. Will wait until next Friday when things should be back normal. Because to be honest who knows what this week will bring. I'm trying to not worry about it/home stuff but I can't help it :o
