The paper cup coffees sound like a necessity to me. Just a thought though, do you have a travel mug? If so you could take in coffee from home to drink a couple of hours after you get there and then buy a coffee from the machine later on. You'd still get your essential coffees in but it would be a little bit cheaper. I bought a couple of travel mugs in Mr T in the sale and we've been using them to death since then.
I hope things are going alright with little DD

Hope all is ok. Don't feel guilty about the coffees, if they're helping you cope it doesn't matter xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Hope all going well and everyone coping. Coffee cardboard or otherwise sounds like a necessity. Hope you and youngest get some sleep tonight. You really are amazing, not sure how you are keeping going!0

Oh it's been an up and down afternoon.
Anyway older two settled now. Dinner was more than £5 as I haven't had chance to walk out to the shop. Drawn the money out the bank and have enough left for coffee and taxi tomorrow.
Had some drama with older DD at school and some other girls telling her about something on social media (my smalls don't have access to the internet at home! Never mind social media!)
Anyway skint as ever. Tired and fed up.
ETA my coffee while from the paper cup machine is in my own travel mug as we aren't supposed to have hot drinks on the ward ... Sneaked into our room though no one's shouted at me yet!
Thank you for all the replies.
HSL DLA don't take new things/ 'worse' / progression into account on the appeal. It would need to be a totally new claim. Don't know how that stands when there's an appeal in progress and I can't find out until we are home etc.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Thankfully my two aren't into the social media scene at all. DS I can understand as I think it's more a girl thing, but I'm really relieved DD has never really used it. She says she'd rather be living her life than posting about it. Have to say I'm shocked that children of your DD's age are using it or more to the point their parents are letting them

Is this the last night you'll be in hospital or do you have another one to get through? Hope you manage to get some rest, bet you'll be glad to get home to your bed won't you. xx0 -
Coffee in whatever form is a necessity as it’s getting you through the days and nights.
Hope you get some answers to help little one.January spends - £587.580 -
