teafortwo has hit the nail on the head.
Time to go back to the MP & tell them it as it is & the financial hardship for everyone in your huosehold.
That is what they are paid a lot of money for~~to help make life better for their constitutants.
Phone DLA again & push hard for them to look again at the recent MR.
    Is the appeal in?

They won't look at the MR again. They've made their decision and then I had the right to appeal which I have. Now we just need to wait for a hearing date for the appeal. The average waiting time here is 13-17 months going off the MP and support groups stories. MP will help at appeal stage if needed although has passed me onto someone at welfare rights who is more experienced and will attend the hearing with me if I need/want as a representative.

They offer support for the older two in places I don't want to go down right now if we can manage without it (which we would with the DLA) If things get to the stage I need that help I'll accept it. It isn't financial help however and like I say not a road I'm ready to go down. We've managed this long and I'll continue to try my hardest to manage without taking that route.

It looks like we will be going in next week if there's a bed in the correct place free. It means older two will do school breakfast club, attend school and after school then I'll collect them at 6-6.30. Fingers crossed it will only be 3 days.

It's a bit up in the air waiting so as much as I don't want it to be right now the quicker it's done the better.

Blimey WB, 13-17 months is a long time. I'm shocked that the MP know that, knows your situation and yet still can't do anything to help bring that date forward. I guess the holiday question is answered then with regards to DLA being awarded and helping you out :(

I suppose the sooner DD goes into hospital the sooner you'll all be back at home. Are you still in a situation where you'll need to collect them yourself etc or have you got some back up. xx

    Thank you TF

DLA could be much sooner. Literally just a waiting game with no clue yet as to when it will be. Fingers crossed for sooner rather than later.

I will drop them to and from school myself. Them being there longer days means they shouldn't be around when the more invasive tests are going on. I've never left youngest on the ward over night and I'm hoping not too this time either. So the less hours the older two are there the better for them too.

In other news I have my duvet and pillows etc. I don't feel up to painting tonight but I will do it before the weekends over. I cannot wait to get into bed now. The kids are in the bath already and then I think it can be an early night with a movie for them.

I know today's appointments will all be worth it in the long run but they leave me feeling so much worse than when I went in :o

Tomorrow we don't have any appointments. I think I'm going to shove a box dye on my hair and hopefully the weather is dry enough to take the kids for a walk. I will need to contact all my bills and things and explain next week's in stay may mean paying less next week and catching up over the following weeks. Better to pre warn them than be last minute.

All the short term lingering illnesses seem to be going though and both girls seem in much better form today.

I have loads of cleaning to catch up on now so my plan is to get the kids settled. Do the cleaning and climb into bed for an early night!

Thank you again for all your replies and support

Sounds like it's been tough but you have done all that you needed to do and a lot more too! We don't get half term up here :( just a long weekend and we just played and visited people.

Hope the duvet and pillows are good!
