Well I don't think anybody is going to judge you for falling asleep before cleaning your floors....again ;)

Hopefully, you'll have it all set up properly in the next couple of weeks and then it really will feel like it's your own space. It's nice to know you're not on the sofa anymore and there's room next to you for a little one on those difficult nights :) xx

Got our other appointment done this afternoon, home, kids fed and bathed and are now in bed!

Not sure if today has left me with more questions/worries than before :o I'm really annoyed with some things that have been said/are now being looked into. We've been on this 'road' for over 4 years. With them all set on certain things being dealt with as lets say Plan A. Questions have been asked along the way and always reassured this is the correct pathway. However now they want to investigate for something totally different which means Plan B. This has been brought up so many times by other professionals over the years but has been brushed off as 'it can't be'

I realise that probably makes no sense and isn't much use :o But yeah there's lots of questions been raised now. Wish there was someone else to make the decisions needed :o I realise that makes me sound awful. Either plan makes me realise how uncertain the future is and how important getting things sorted and making happy memories while we can is so important, so I haven't cancelled the holiday yet :o

Anyway today wasn't a NSD, we needed bread and milk and had the travel costs to the appointments. No other spends though.

Tomorrow we are at my appointment in town so will visit the museum as it's free and at least the smalls will feel like they've done something other than sit in hospital waiting rooms!!

Things are so much more settled though in other ways than they have been for a long time.
    Hold onto that thought. xx

Totally true Beanie, I am so grateful things are so much better and for all the help. I wouldn't like to think where I'd be if it wasn't

This is so true WB. I know you're worried about DD and I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through and are still going through but the other worries - money, tenancy etc. are pretty much all sorted now which must be a huge relief for you.

It sounds like there should have been a little bit more open-mindedness with regards to DD along the way, especially if other professionals were querying things, so no wonder you feel frustrated and are wondering what's going on. :(

Good idea to try and go on holiday if you can. It'll give you all something to look forward to. xx
  • Glad the tenancy is sorted and you’ve managed some sleep in your new bed.

Wish I was closer to help out with the smalls. Enjoy the museum tomorrow Xx

Thank you Tea, I think a lot of my frustration is I just want answers, or at least some idea on how to manage things better than now. Everything being so unknown just makes me worry. Then we have a good couple of weeks and I feel like I'm just letting my guard down and then we are right back at the start again - in A&E! Not only that she has a lot of medication now that's built up over time but still doesn't seem to be making a difference in the bigger picture. I'm not sure where we will go from here not even if the tests show what they are testing for - I don't think there is an answer. Just take each day as it comes. It makes me sad because when she's well she's so happy and want's to do everything the others are doing and can't, then with all the hospital stays/tests/meds etc she realises now she's 'different' and has been expressing how much she doesn't want to do X because the others don't.

    Thank you Lucky

I’m so pleased you have your bed and lots of things are falling into place for you.

I’m not surprised you feel overwhelmed and low....constant worry about smallest small - never mind the other things that have been going on must take their toll on you.

It's hard on everybody isn't it, especially DD who is obviously becoming more aware of her limitations at times. If they think it might be something else now and the medication she's on doesn't seem to be making any difference I wonder if they might be able to take here off some and get back to basics - sort of starting over.

I know it's easy to say but try not to worry too much about the bigger picture until you know for sure what you're dealing with. There's enough going on in your day to day life without thinking too far ahead. Otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy with what if's. xx
