I'm losing it. I posted my reply in the wrong place :o

Honestly now I know why supervision at the kitchen table is where glitter is used. I think I will be cleaning it up for weeks! Still nice I'm not moaning :A I promise.

They are all finally in bed, I can't imagine getting them up in the morning will be as easy as usual :o

I have to clean the floors again and make sure I have stuff ready for the mornings phone calls.

I'm excited for tomorrow. Then Thursday is my Birthday which I never look forward too but I am this time :j the smalls have put so much effort into it too. I need to sort the cake tomorrow so they can decorate it into a unicorn  Yep I'm having a unicorn cake but that's a secret ;)

I LOVE that you are having a unicorn cake. I hope there's a virtual one to share with us?! ;)

OMG about the glitter! Many moons ago, when I was a teenager, a friend gave me a highly-trendy Lush bath bomb absolutely FULL of the stuff! My mum swears to this day she spent over a week cleaning it out of the bath and a small amount got in my hairbrush meaning that I had a glittery streak for months as it was impossible to remove however must I tried!

I hope the glitter in your house is better behaved! :rotfl:

I hope the DLA appeal goes in your favour. x

:rotfl: PB. DD has gone to school today very sparkly! Even DS had it on his face and he didn't even touch it! It doesn't come off :rotfl: So far the glitter is winning!

    Morning

As I said things have changed. My rent arrears will be paid and the ball rolling to making things change today. I have a phone call this morning to get it sorted. I'll just have the court costs then which the minimum payment will be less than I'm currently paying. I will be back with full details after the phone call. I still can't quite believe the position I'll be in after this is sorted.

So today is a busy day all round. Youngest slept better once she'd fell asleep last night - I ended up sharing her bed again it took so long for her to actually go to sleep though! It was about 3am

Will see how she is today and I think she can try school tomorrow - after all I don't think she's too contagious it is only a cold. I don't know where I stand on this :o I don't want her to pass it on but then half the smalls you see in school seem to have it anyway?

Other two are away to school. I need to remember to lift something out the freezer for dinner. In fact I will do that once I've posted this.

Just having a hot cuppa before getting youngest up and starting the day

Hope you all have a lovely day

Morning WB. Wow, what a difference a day makes. Hope the fact your arrears will be paid off today means you can finally relax about your situation and start to move on properly with your life.

As long as you think DD is OK to go into school I'd send her in. After all, schools are always banging on about not keeping children off with only a cold, so their attendance % doesn't go down

Hope you have a lovely day. One to mark in the diary for sure. :) xx

ETA: Sorry, should have said whoever has helped make this possible for you is an absolute star xx

I've just sent you a PM Tea x

Youngest attendance is shocking :o I always find it hard knowing when they can go and when they should be home. School say even with a temperature they can attend now. Just give medicine in the morning. So they aren't really helpful like you say

Ooh don't get me started on schools with their illness/percentages WB. I've seen it from both sides and I find it shocking how much pressure parents are put under to send children into school who aren't well.

The school I worked actually sent a note out saying to bring your ill child in and they'd decide whether they were well enough to stay or not! One silly Mum did this, the Head said yes, child looks OK and should stay and half an hour later he was promptly sick all over his desk. Of course the Head wasn't the one clearing that up was she.:mad::mad:

Off to open my PM now. xx

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

    Thank you US.

It changes so much for us. More than just the debt going.

It will change things for the smalls and it will allow me to give them something they've wanted for months now. (nothing that costs money!) But before now it's been complicated/I've had worries about how the situation will be etc. Anyway now all the ties over things can be stopped other things can now be on my terms and worry free. The smalls will be over the moon, although I haven't told them anything until it's all sorted and I have that security of it being done.

This probably makes no sense :o But its a massive step forward in getting things right for the smalls and going forward.

It also means I can pursue other issues I've been unable to tackle so far in case it back fired and I made the situation worse until the debt had gone and things could change.

I have a very good feeling how things are going to work out now and I already feel more able to be in control.
