You're not alone in not doing anything for NY, I don't know anybody who's going out this year. I'm always persuaded to stay up to see it in with DS and while I can happily stay up late any other night, why is it when I know I have to I could happily go to bed at 9pm :rotfl:
Hope 2019 is a good one for you and the smalls. x0 -
Happy 2019 all the best xJust Keep Swimming

We don't do anything either. Bed before midnight and watching films on TIVO tomorrow.
Steak pie to stick in oven for tea tonight and a big pot of soup for tomorrow. Very Scottish Hogmanay.
I hope that 2019 is good for you and the wee ones. As we say here, I wish you everything you wish for yourself. xxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Thank you

Afternoon
I didn't go to the supermarket
We will manage until Friday now
Smalls are crafting today and I think we will bake some cakes or biscuits later. Dinner is sausage casserole I think. Although maybe to similar to yesterday. Would use up some of the leftovers though
Nearly at cashout on VO for an Amazon voucher. Will use some of this for a calendar and diary.
DD's new meds seem to working well on what they are needed for however the lack of sleep is really getting to me so need to speak to the nurse. Hoping she rings back soon. I'm glad it's lack of sleep and her being well though!
Hope you all have a lovely day

I'm glad the meds are working for the wee one but I really feel for you if you are not getting enough sleep. My son hardly slept at all as a baby and a toddler and it is so draining. Try to look after yourself and get some sleep when you can (never mind the cleaning!!!) xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Spoke to the nurse, will push on with the new med for now. Review again in 2 weeks and consider what options we have. Not many so really hoping it settles down.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

As we go into 2019
Debt
Council Tax £375 (£25 behind)
Rent arrears £1545
Credit card £150
Total £2070
Saving goals
Step 1 £650 (Random amount but covers something needed)
Step 2
Holiday £550 (This is to cover all school holidays including the October caravan holiday that is booked but can be cancelled/Travel/days out etc)
Step 3 £300 Christmas/Birthdays (This is from surveys/vouchers)
Budget
Rent £150 (£25 extra for 6 weeks to cover a shortfall)
Council Tax £25.60 (Current years bill)
Council Tax £12.50 (Arrears)
Gas/Electric £25 (Prepay meters cheapest tariff around I've checked)
Water £11.40
TV License £5.60
Mobile Credit £1.25 (this could really do with being £2.50)
Virgin £7.50 (Ends at the end of Jan)
School snack £3
Food/Transport/Basically everything else £30.35 (although really only £5.35 over the next 6 weeks)
The savings are not a priority at all obviously. But it's nice to have something nicer down as a goal even if its not going to be started yet. It would be even more of a depressing read without something to try and look forward too
The credit card needs to be a priority. It's a stupidly high APR at nearly 50%. I think it will go over the limit when this months interest is added so will get a £12 fee added on too
Things are tight as you can see. However hopefully things will be sorted and improve sooner rather than later.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

On paper beanie, however I don't need to top up my phone (it isn't a contract just pay as you go) I can hold virgin off as its the last month anyway so being cut off. I have £30 on my Electric meter and £16 on the gas so that won't need topping up this week. This week we should only need bread/milk/juice/potatoes. We don't have any appointments planned in this week so won't need to pay taxis. There is enough nappies and youngests things for at least 10 days.
When I reach cashout on VO for amazon I will use it on Amazon pantry for food stuff etc instead of a calendar/diary. Will try to do as many surveys as possible that will give Amazon vouchers. Anything from PA I will pay to the credit card.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
I hope 2019 brings you health and happiness. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
