    Sorry was sorting smalls out. HH that was the path I went down and the older two seem to accept and understand that (I said she had gone to my dad and maybe she was sat on his knee now :o :rotfl:) However I don't think youngest understands. She can't understand why she can't go to heaven on holiday etc or that its forever She keeps trying to convince us she's outside and that she can hear her :(:o

    Thank you for all your replies and offers to help but honestly there is no need too. I couldn't accept it :o I'd feel terrible. I will sort it somehow. I just shared the worries here as obviously I can't with the smalls.

    Thank you again for all your replies and thank you Beanie

    All you need to think is that no one would offer to help if they did not want too.
    No one is being made to offer.
    We want to help.
    Thats what friends do.
    No of us know when we may need help ourselves.
    PLease think about it :)

    {Edited by Forum Team} I am fortunate to have been able to bury my dogs when they have passed and have had great comfort in feeling that they are close by. I guess that's how you would feel having the ashes with you.

    Re the youngest...there is a snowman sequel, I think it's called Snowdog and it shows an elderly dog moving house with his family and then in time, the dog passes away, but it's all done in cartoon /musical form and is so beautifully done. Might be worth looking at with her?

    I've had dogs all my life and they've got me through some bad times. Another one here who thinks they are often a bigger part of the family than some people{Edited by Forum Team}

    It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
