Morning

Monday again! DD still off school  Older two are away to school happy enough though.
Had a lovely quiet weekend, not spent anything! That has to be a first for quite a while. I do need Gas today but that will be all that's spent.
Made beef & ale pie yesterday and I was so surprised how much the kids ate. I thought there would be leftovers to carry forward but not a chance :rotfl: Have a chicken to do for tonight not sure what with yet though. Have some salmon in the freezer that could do with being used up too.
A bit of a boring update
not much going on, no money and no adventures
Hope you all have a lovely day. Thank you for stopping in

It sounds as though you're quite the cook!
It's a nice problem to have - making something so good that there's none left over! I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I concur! I'd love a few quiet weekends right now! :rotfl:
I thought I could smell something good. *Looks mournfully at empty plate*Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Afternoon

Hope everyone is okay
I have other DD off school today *needs rolls eyes *
We are really skint
So other than the £1.50 donation to the giving tree at SA and DD a drink in there after the DR this morning it will be a no more spending week
We need to use up all the ends in the freezer anyway.
I really think I'm going to look at work again
I don't want to jump in too deep and quick though. Weeks like this make me think how! When all 3 kids have had days off school unwell, Dr appointments and then just the 'normal' appointments for youngest
Meh!

So plans are
Eat from what we have in, I have loads to make soup too.
Spend the time walking in the park/by the canal etc nothing that costs. We can take a flask and snacks with us.
Budget properly and STICK to it! We have lost DD's DLA I need to appeal but I just don't know if I have it in me to fight it
So what was propping up all her expenses on medical things I'm now covering myself out of other budgets. The grocery spend is the main one that's jumped up alot. We used most of what we had in 'stores' and we don't get gifted things anymore. We are happier not speaking to those people though. Well worth it on that side of things and I need to remember that
I'm rambling now and I can't remember what else I wanted to say

Please please try to find the fight to appeal your DD's DLA.
