Glad the smalls are getting better :)

Good idea to hold off uniform buying until after the summer hols, they could grow in the holidays you know how kids go on growth spurts. Only 6 weeks as you say.

That's what I'm thinking SA. TBH I only bought from supermarkets this school year. Where as before I used Next/M&S. I haven't noticed any difference in quality other than the [STRIKE]horrid[/STRIKE] gold t-shirts seem to fade quicker.

The day has been pretty boring. Have wrote a small list of things I forgot on the shopping today and stuck the list with the cash into my bag! I shouldn't shop without a list

Think we might go for a walk to Mr L for those tomorrow.

We are being so lazy. Well the smalls are :rotfl:

I have cleaned and made soup and salad to make the fresh bits that looked sad last longer.

It's dry and sunny but def not as warm as it has been. Not sure we will walk to town today.

Smalls have been invited to a birthday party at weekend so need to get a card and gift. Unusual for all 3 to be invited

    Hope everyone is well

That;s a shame about the holiday but good news that they are all on the mend, poor things. Agree that getting something else planned in is a good idea, and well done for getting the countdown to summer holidays ready to go!

The countdown is up on the wall and we cannot wait for the longer school holidays. We have already started filling in the days with free activities and fun days. The library etc

I think instead of booking another holiday for in the summer holidays we will do a couple of more 'special' ie days that cost :o maybe the farm or zoo. Then we can save for our October holiday which is slightly further afield to where we usually go so will have more we want to do.

That sounds like a good idea, W. I always found zoos, etc could be really quite expensive. Are there any local summer clubs the wee ones could go to. We have one close by that is subsidised by grants, etc (I think) and raising funds from community activities during the year. They do marvellous things with the local children. Apart from daily activities they organise day trips, etc. and they are always grateful for any adults that can help out.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
  • My DC used to love zoos, farms etc. They can be pricey but you can spend a whole day there so good value in a way.

You sound like you're having a relaxed half term :)

    Afternoon :)

Another slow start for the smalls, need to get back into a routine or it will be a huge shock come Monday :rotfl: I have enjoyed the lower mornings though.

Have made salads up for lunch and soup with all the half used veg and things. Decided we have enough to last until Friday so no need to top up shopping. I have switched from Diet Coke to Sparkling water (still not as MSE as swapping to tap water :o but I just can't drink it)

I have some work to do this afternoon after spending 4 hours doing it wrong yesterday thanks to someone else's bit being wrong  When I realised their mistake (after sitting for 4 hours doing my part) I chucked it back in the folders and will do it again this afternoon.

We have been trying to change puppy's food over since coming to us from the breeder (she was/is on ped!gree which I hate but we are losing the battle and I'm slowly losing the will to live! So I think I'm just going to leave her on it and keep her happy) Otherwise all is good. She's house trained and has learnt basic commands (sit, stay, out, down etc)

    Hope everyone is well

Try mixing your sparkling with fruit concentrate juice for a wee bit o flavour. I do this with ALDI sparkling water and their orange concentrate and apple n blackcurrant concentrate, makes refreshing and cheap fizzy drinks :D

Puppy food - get her off the pedigree scum asap. The pup won't starve herself, she'll eat what she gets given.
I feed my wee girl the ALDI working dog dry food and make sure she has plenty of water. She also gets Marrorolls and gravy bone biccies as treats. She loves it and is very healthy on it.
Ok she gets the odd chip n wee bits of my dinner too as treats but YKWIM ;)
Pups are like kids once they know it's eat it or starve, they'll eat ;)
