Hi W, glad to have found you again & glad things are looking up.
Onwards & upwards. :beer:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Just opening today's post. Credit card arrived. Shocked and feel nervous about it!
Don't know if I should just pay the rent on to it now .. £226.14 (£250 limit) but at 59.9% this scares me  So I don't know if to wait till the very last minute and pay it on there then (Thursday).
Feel a bit happier knowing it's covered even if not in an ideal way. I guess I break all the rules of being a DFW“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
So pleased that you sound more like you. Also very pleased not to see the endless cleaning lists. Hope you're being a bit kinder to yourself xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Not really think it's something that I need to do though. Definitely taking it's toll. The cleaning will be back over the weekend. Back to routineIt's been nice doing nothing to a set time though

For you, I guess it will be good to get back into your routine. I'm the same to be honest.
Take care xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

It will, it keeps me focused enough not to want to self destruct. Just a minor wobble of wanting the world to stop and let me off, got to dust myself off, lock away the problems and get back to it.Glad I found you! Subscribed and cheering from the sidelines x
HiGlad you found me x

Thinking back to my first post on the other diary in May.
My goals where pretty much be happier, be less in debt, keep control of food and other things.
Okay so while I've had my downs there's definitely been more happier days. The house is a happier place to be. I'm definitely less in debt.
Food wise still not back to drinking coffee like I was. The minor slip here and there but lost enough to very nearly where I was 10 years ago and back to very near the 50kg than 60+ I was! Still not happy with itbut doubt I ever will be. Feel better though.
Things have changed. I'm working sort off, smalls are all doing better in school. Youngest started nursery even if challenging health wise it made her find her voice and we have words. It's hard to think this time last year she didn't speak at all.
We still have a way to go but overall looking at it that way over 6 months I think we've done some good stuff
I would have liked to have paid more of the debt but that will happen once things settle.
I'm happy with the budget, we still don't overspend on Groceries/entertainment etc.
Budgeted spends where mainly school related  This needs its own pot going forward. Along with smalls clothes (and getting some for myself that actually fit)“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Morning lovely,
You have come a long way and you have certainly changed for the better too.
You are stronger and happier, everyone has their good days and bad days, I'd be lying if I said I didn't.
Don't know what to suggest with the credit card, but it's nice to have for emergencies.
Have a great day xx0 -
