  • Okay so while I've had my downs there's definitely been more happier days. The house is a happier place to be. I'm definitely less in debt.

This is the best line of your whole statement - nothing beats a happy home:j:T:j:T
  • Thank you x

Haven't brought myself to put the rent onto the credit card yet :o Will wait till last minute.

We had a covering of snow again this morning

    Hello

I'm another one who is sooo relieved to find you again. I was so worried I something terrible had happened to you. Good to hear it seems to have just been an error (although very annoying)

I don't post on your diary often but I follow and, like many others, am totally inspired.

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Take care of yourself xxx

  • Morning missus :D

I usually say to folks "Don't look back, you're not going that way..."
However, what I should be saying is don't go back the way... anyhoo...
It is good to reflect and take a look at progress and indeed great progress has been made.

You have good friends and support on here (some in RL too ;) )
    Your debts are going down
    Home is happier
    The kids are doing great
    You're back in work
You have and you are taking back your life and rebuilding on a very sound foundation... the needs of you and your wee ones.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

    Thank you :)

Well late night/being up early. I had the bright idea to start decorating the living room, now I'm half way through I have no get up and go to carry on :o So stopping for a coffee break before carrying on!

The weather is still just as miserable as this morning

If you just do one wall a day it'll still get done. Don't wear yourself out, you need to keep resting. When I have a big task on hand I do a bit then have a break and read my book/have a coffee. It doesn't seem so daunting that way.

I'm rubbish at taking my time :o I want it done before I start :rotfl:

Although no seriously I want it done before the smalls are home then I can move into the kitchen :o I'm hoping Mum gives me a gift voucher for Xmas I can use to replace the kettle (it leaks :o) then I will be happy with downstairs. The bigger stuff can't be replaced until I'm debt free but I at least want it too look like I make some effort :o I'll slowly make a start on my bedroom after Xmas but again there's bigger stuff needed in there as it's never been touched the whole time we have been here. So there's no carpet/bare plaster walls and no furniture/bed etc.
