Hey Wannabe ... Sorry your other diary got deleted... Again... seems very suspicious fish to me. I lurked on your first one and then lurked on the second one so thought I would finally pop in and say Hi :j on this one!

I'm crappy with commenting on peoples stuff and mostly crappy with updating my own diary but I'm always lurking around cheering everyone on silently (That came out more creepy than intended :eek:)

I don’t understand as if the spam button is pressed but accident it can be reversed and it’s very obvious when it happens.

Morning all - hope all's good in your world today WF.

I feel quite strongly that we really need to do some foot stamping on the issue of the spam button / total deletion of threads. If anyone who's not yet posted on my thread linked above on the Site Feedback board could do, that would be great - thank you and thanks to all who already have.

Bottom line - either the spam button being used too much means threads can totally disappear - in which case that needs sorting, OR they can be retrieved but it relies on someone being willing to do some work...in which case some work needs to be done! Of course the third option is that there was malicious behaviour at work in the issue WF has now faced twice, in which case that also needs investigation and if necessary IP addresses need banning to prevent those responsible acting in this way again.

Thanks for clarifying Andrea. It *does* still seem odd to me (And I know others feel the same) that WF's threads seem to have been hit by this more than any others. I know her threads have been high traffic, but so are a lot of others? Really hope there isn't foul play at work and this one stays untouched and in place!

Thanks, I hope so too. I'd hate to think it was malicious. We can see who clicked, though, and would be taking strong action if we found it is malicious.
